I did a review of the unexpected on Raptalk like a year ago, if it ever comes back up you can peep it there or go to velvet music, its there too

UDI came out with the hangover and they got a new one comin out real soon from what i've heard

Big Mack had an album out that i havn't heard, i bet its tight though cuz he was tight on the unexpected.

I heard CWH got a finished album out that they won't put out for some reason.

unexpected was all ChillBlack production, it was tight but was just missing something i can't put my finger on. Maybe Jo&Chris from Dogdayhad some creative control of the earlier projects or something, thats the only thing different i see.

jayda as time changes so does music. the unexpected was off the hook as well as the hangover and anything this group comes out with. The only thing creative that Jo and Chris ever did was get the fuck out of town....

Kill-a-hoe, kill-a-hoe--FUCK DAT BITCH!!!

Yeah, as far as Cold World, the story I heard was that Big Vic spends most of his time these days being a father to his kids, which is cool. I think E-Sicc's still doing it, though (he was one of the main voices on U DIDN'T KNOW?, and sounded great).

All three (w/ a fourth on the way early next year) of U.D.I.s CDs are must-buys (if you can find them), and yeah, Big Mack had a solo called EVERYBODY WANNA ROLL (2001). It's not quite in the same league w/ A BETTER WAY, but it's still worth copping---Mack knows how to give fans their money's worth.

PEACE!

yeah I've copped all the big mack releases, I think everybody wanna roll is from 2002. and that better way album was some straight classic shit.

otherwise the 2 first UDI albums are straight classic to me and Hangover was some real dope shit for 2003.

like I said I had expected a lot more for that unexpected album. you got some straight frisco legends on it and it doesn't sound as good as it should be.

TaydaTay's last solo was not so good too I think, whereas AnticiPAYtion was a straight classic.

do you know if 11/5 are due to release another group album or not ?

Beats me, but it'd be cool...

@French Hustla--If my memory serves me correctly, there was SUPPOSED to be an 11/5 compilation entitled "11/5: HITS & MORE," which was going to have the best songs from their Dogday and Right Stuff releases, along w/ four or five (I THINK) new tracks. Don't know if that's ever going to be released, though. As far as a new 11/5 CD w/ all new songs, I don't know...it'll be interesting to see what happens in 2004...

PEACE!
