Where is it to buy music in Oakland

Seems like al lthe shops have closed down. Is it only smoke shops and liquor stores left. Where do people buy rap music from in Oakland.

i guess its more of a no-answer question. Even tthe store in Eastmont is gone now. Its a ghost-town in Eastmont. But there are just no rap stores. NONE in the city, and people wonder why cats bootleg. Very few people are goin all the way to Berkeley just pick somethin up.

i feel you, i live right next to Durant Square, and i remember back in the days i would be able to jus hit it up right quick and cop me a couple albums, now the asians took over and it aint nothin but bootleg fubu and cheap ass clothes LOL

yung-g, I'm trippin, right over by Kings grocery. Across fromwhere the Dragons got their club office. Yeah that's right. Its small but clean and nice. Hope they last. It just seems like they are all gone. It also used to be one over by Foothill, it was that shop that had the Ascari X banner out front for HELLA long. Then you had the one inthe cut. On like 95th or somethin over by B,C,D streets... one of em. They had a studio on one side, a store onthe other (where you could get whatever) and then the music was part of it. But they are closed down now, too. I was over that way today but I guess somebody had got killed so I wasn't tryin to get too close to ANYthing or anybody. But from what I could tell it is gone, looks like a Carniceria o algo. No estoy seguro pero pienso que la tienda de musica es cerrado.

Anyway, for a city as big and rap friendly as Oakland, you'd think there's be a few stores. But...

I been seein em up, too. Its some other people workin the area. I knew things was goin well when I see a good spot and its one already up. You know they be tearin shit down on the regular, but I be seein it up. Everybody I talk to says they been seein em, too. I was up by Castlemont yesterday throwin em up. That Macarthur strip. I see em all over e-1-4, that's the main part, but now I gotta hit little mexico up (fruitvale). Its somepeople suppose to be hittin that up this week. Its goin cool.

check out the lower Mission area in Frisco, got them posters all over the poles / trashcans / bus stops... u name it i done claimed it lol
