Your inner righteousness, which you may ascribe one of several names--Jesus, Islam, Logic/Logos, and so on. Your inner guide and judge; you are speaking with your personal personification of right and wrong.

If you and your best friend work at the same job together...you do not talk to him the same way ON THE CLOCK, that you do OFF THE CLOCK, even though he is literally the "same person". So the same way you do not "your self" when you are on this spiritual clock.

I welcome all semantic arguments though. My favorite.

One thing I agree with you on. All religions have basically the same concept in that they require prayer/meditation to get in touch with (insert name of deity here), and then follow what this deity says.

Either way you look at it God is actually internal (and perhaps external as well), even if you believe in creationism. I mean if you create something, wouldn't that something have a part of you in it? Just as a child of yours.

Religions are all basically the same in this manner. The only differences are in political agenda, history and canons, but if you can look beyond that you will see the truth. Even atheists can get in touch with their inner-self which is good and pure in nature.

It's all the same thing with different names, you say toe-may-toe I say toe-mah-toe kind of thing.

^^ Very correct. I cannot argue these truths that you are speaking. I have a hard time professing any religion because I don't appreciate most of the agendas that come with them. I mostly "pray"/meditate to myself, and reflect on what I've done and methods to do other things, ways to say things to friends and passers-by that are less harsh and more gracious, and so on.

I can appreciate Atheists. The one thing I do not appreciate is the PETA-like vindictive Atheists, that run around trying to shit on other people and spending their time learning how to break people and their religions down, rather than studying the POSITIVES in ALL world religions, as well as eastern/western philosophy, and blending it all together to become a sort of righteous teacher.

Personally, I believe suitheism, syncretism and universalism should be researched before it is passed off as truth by members of this board. On the surface, some religions may have similar concepts, but as you dig deeper you will find that these concepts are cosmetic and the underlying message IS different.

I also disagree with the statement that all religions have a diety, and proper research pertaining to the "isms" I have listed will prove this point. If that doesn't work for you consider the many non-theistic religions (various forms of buddhism) or agnostics who can't decide on which side of the fence they would like to sit on.

To answer the original question. YHWH himself.

well, in a literal sense when praying you pray to yourself. Your subconcious works out all the details, but your prayers are answered by the most powerfull god in the universe.. YOURSELF!
