Exactly...you gotta break the chain cause most your homeboyz is in that same trap of doing good music and not releasing...look at rikk with his archives.you gotta start somewhere.I know some want to line everything up and everything to be perfect....they will keep pushing shit back until things are perfect..or near, and we living in an un perfect world, shit may never be perfect.i knowthat having a positive attitude is good, but I also feel that some are disappointed cause there expections were to high, then they get discouraged and start making excuses.I expect shit to not go right,Im prepared for each and every scenario....people always ask me what Im gonna do,what if that, what if this...I tell them Im good,Ive already mapped out bumps in the road and i am prepared for it..unlike those who think positive and arent prepared cause they couldnt fathom something going wrong cause they think its negative thinking. If you got 4 projects and you put one out..set a gaol....I want 1000 fans...not just sales...cause if they buy your shit and it aint right, they may not be a fan,and it will be harder to get there money the next time.If they like your shit..you might have a fan for life....next project say i have 1000 fans...i want 1000 more....after 4-5 projects you built a fan base and have 5000 faithful fans.......so if your shit aint right..re do it,getting a quick buck by cutting corners and putting out mediocre work will put an end to your career quick........build your foundation..brick by brick...you still young...i wouldnt even be thiinkin about no deals,or distribution at this point...you aint ready...If you had somdistribution and they put it in 2000 stores across the nation...that dont always equal sales.....no one knows your name,no one knows you have a project out now....build your name and reputation and you stand a better chance things falling in place..look at hootie, and some other new west artists...they putting in the work and laying down there foundation.
