Even though I am Liberal I find myself watching alot of FOX news, O'Reilly Factor and Hannity and Colmes.

I disagree with O'Reilly alot but he does make some good points, He claims to be independent but almost all the points he makes are conservative except for a few.

I would personally like to debate Sean Hannity, After winning the debate I would back-hand him as hard as I could and start C-Walking with Alan Colmes(LOL).

I think I'll stick with CNN and the BBC

CNN....hmmm....any channel that would make separate broadcasts--one domestic, one foreign to cater to Anti-Americans--is too cowardly for me, so i dont watch much CNN. Larry King does butterball interviews as well.

MSNBC is alright from time to time. Hardball is acceptable, but almost always stacked and out of control. Abrams is an idiot, and Scarborough is a weak analogue of O'Reilly.

CNBC is good from time to time, they've got a few alright shows. I mostly watch it for the Consumer Reports-type programming.

And mostly, i watch Fox News....Hannity and Colmes, Cavuto, O'Reilly, G Block, News Watch (Kasich is a fucking moron, by the way).....by far the most interesting news channel. I dont watch it so much for the news as i do the conversation.

If Al-Jazeerah had an English translation, i would probably watch that a good 2 hours a day or more. BBC, i would check into if i could.

I get most of my "hard" news from Yahoo.com. Updated around the clock, and doesn't have sloppy ads all over the place.

Generally speaking, US news networks are crap and I wouldn't watch them unless there was nothing else to watch. For international news in English, I'll stick with BBC.

BBC > all American news networks. This is absolutely indisputable.

Fox News is conservative as fuck. CNN is probably the least political, with MSNBC coming in second, and Fox News in last. It has been revealed time and again that people around the world as well as terrorism experts, etc., inside the USA go to CNN, not FNC, for a good source of American news. FNC is entertaining to watch but it is incredibly one sided.

I watch a little bit of everything, MSNBC (although I do agree -- Scarborough is boring as shit), some CNN

I usually only watch FOX for Hannity and Colmes and O'Reilly Factor, but I probably watch Hannity/Colmes more....I like hearing debate as opposed to just one persons ideas.

He's a funny mofo right thurrr,

I don't have cable b/c it's B.S. and passive. It has an even bigger agenda than Michael Moore (he just wants Bush out of office for his past movie and is quite obvious about it) . Our current news sources are so biased and skewed b/c of the corporate sponsorship/advertising that everything that we get is filtered, watered down, b.s. w/ a hidden agenda who's ultimate intent is to not dispurse information but to sell, sell, sell, so that we buy, buy, buy.

And yes, I understand we are a capitalistic society, based on consumerism however I can not succumb and fall into that as an excuse for B.S. information.

I am a capiltalist by any and every means, never get that mistaken, I am also a psuedo socialist-commy (hmmmm, fancy that). I believe we should be fiscally rewarded for our 'business' efforts accordingly, I also believe in corporate responsibility and accountability (and no their only obligations should not only be to the share/stakeholders so take that Milton Friedman b.s. to the curb). Consumerism has played a vital role in allowing us to live and expierience the highest standard of living ever, but there needs to be social responsibility as well (and no big corporate tax breaks do not stimulate the economy, it just makes the fat cats fatter) whoa, sorry to get off on that tangent, but back to the basics...

BBC is generally a lot less invective and emotional. Read any American news story, then read the BBC equivalent. Even if in some instances you find the American story 100% objective, you WILL run into times when you notice a strong or slight leaning in the American equivalent, with the BBC looking liek an almanac. British news outlets are much more quick to question the government...while in America we basically had a troop-supporting, flag-waving fest leading up to the Iraq war, the BBC was far more critical and unafraid to ask harsh questions of Blair.

Being emotive and leading makes you less objective.

If I was to lock myself in a Whitewalled room and watch nothing but Fox News...everything on FNC, except Hannity & Colmes...would tell me to vote Bush. The headlines, the "fox reports", the "news watches", etc.

^^ No....not really. You're just looking through your libby-liberal filtered sunglasses and thinking that is the case. I have several friends who hate the fuck out of Bush, but still watch FNC because of its structure and because of how streamlined it is.
