I know cheap & reliable might not go together, but suggestions would be nice.

Want reliability, go godaddy, the support is excellent. Cheap you ask for? Any google search will get you a ton of shitty space resellers.

one is a simple store, the other will be more promotional stuff and will end up having music and videos, so I might need some high or unlimited bandwidth for that.

well probably not. I'm going to need to be able to sell items on the sites and I will probably just try and use whatever on board web apps that web hosting site has.

I guess I should've mentioned this in the first post that transactions will happen so I need a site that can handle that.

I wouldn't really take that word 'unlimited' for granted though... You start using a ton of resources and you'll get shut down or charged more. Make sure you read their Terms of Service. But for a beginner site I doubt you'll be using much for a min.
