Didn't you hear? The two labels are currently in talks of merging into one Independent Super Label. Better find you a high bridge for the day that deal goes through, I think you're going to need it with how much you bitch and complain about the Strange/Subnoize relationship on here.

Great News About Subnoize: They have mother fucking Swollen Members now.

Canadian hip-hop group Swollen Members and their Battle Axe Records have announced a partnership California based Suburban Noize Records for the release of their upcoming new projects.

The first release under the partnership will be Swollen Members heavily anticipated new studio album Armed To The Teeth, slated for release in August. Then, they plan to release a greatest hits disc and the debut album from Battle Axe Warriors, a new project featuring Swollen Members along with newcomer Tre Nyce, later this year.

"We're very excited to announce we've signed with Suburban Noize Records for the release of our new album and upcoming projects," said Mad Child from Swollen Members. "When we decided to make calls to interested labels and shop our new material, Suburban Noize was the first and last call I had to make. After talking with them, I knew right away they were the best home for us because they were already fans of our music. We respect what the label has done for artists like La Coka Nostra and Kottonmouth Kings and we know that they will do everything that they can to push Swollen Members on a global level."

Since forming in the mid-90s, the Swollen Members have been clawing their way up the hip-hop totem pole. Founded by Mad Child and Prevail, along with the help of DJ Rob The Viking, the group has released an impressive back catalog of albums, which garnered guest appearances from the likes of Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Dilated Peoples and Everlast. Those albums created a buzz that has helped them tour the world.

News tracks from the upcoming album can be heard via their Myspace page at MySpace.com/SwollenMembers.

They are also gearing up for a summer tour alongside Kottonmouth Kings and Big B starting July 29th in San Francisco, CA, running through August.

Tech's set at SS was better than the one at SN, but:
KMK > Hed P.E. >= Prozak >> S&S >>>> Grave Plott.

I'd much rather have 90 minutes of KMK and Hed than 90 minutes of some Strange artists who don'tfit in, or are just straight garbage.........or both.

That sucks. I guess I'm one of very few people on this board who likes Kottonmouth Kings. Their stuff bumps hard.
i dont like kmk much but they have the fucking sexyest, finest female fanbase so it cancels out

Brochella on June 20th was probably your best bet of a Strange noize 2009 even though it was one show. they performed areola and titties popped out everywhere
