Yes i agree. But what if your star player was injured for most of the season, and you just got him back. They make drastic changes for teams.

Well if you want to guarantee that the playoffs aren't shrunken, there is no valid argument. I interpreted this to mean that if in one league there's a sub .500 in the playoffs and in the other league there's a .500 or better team out of the playoffs, then that better team should swap leagues and join the playoffs. Mathematically, it does not bear out. I do not have the time to do the math tonight, but with around 15 teams in a conference/league, it is possible for there to be only 3 or 4 .500 or better teams.

So what are you going to do, cancel the NFL Wild Card Weekend or first round of the NBA Playoffs outright? Or are you just cool with cancelling a round of the playoffs in the NBA and NFL if that's what it takes?

if no then that usually eliminates half the eastern conference in the nba or quite a few nfc teams....I think its interesting in the nfl cuz teams can be underdogs and win it all, but it sucks for teams in the stronger conference who play better all year but still can't make it.....

can't say the Warriors didn't have their chances !!! 0-6 to start the season, home losses to Chicago, Minn, and Atlanta. Huge loss to Denver at home......stranger things have happened, but i doubt Denver loses at home to the Grizz.....but u never know......

then the word "UPSET" wouldnt really exist in the sport world.

If youre an underdog team with a bad record and whoop on the team with the best one.. thats an upset.

U exaggerating a bit dont u think? Only 1 team in the east is under .500 that is in the playoffs. And when has a sub .500 team made the playoffs in the NFC?? That rarely happens homie!! Got Em!!
