The San Francisco Hip Hop DanceFest is seeking professional Hip Hop dance companies to present at our 7th annual event this November.
The show dates will be November 17-20 , 2005 and will be presented once again at the historic Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco California.
The DanceFest was launched in 1999 by Bay area dance teacher/choreographer Micaya, to celebrate Hip Hop dance and culture.
The DanceFest highlights professional dance companies and youth dance companies during one performance-packed weekend. There are 2 ways to audition:
1. Video OR DVD ENTRIES: Companies should send a video or dvd of the exact piece that they want considered for the show (full cast and costume) to: SF Hip Hop DanceFest PO Box 5232 Larkspur CA 94977. DEADLINE for submissions will be August 2005, however it is strongly recommended to send the footage in as early as possible.
2. LIVE AUDITIONS: Companies should present the exact piece that they want considered for the show (full cast and costume). There will be a live audition opportunity for all local Bay Area companies, or any other companies who would rather audition in person, on Sunday, September 11 or Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Dance Mission Theatre, San Francisco, CA
