Speaking of the Chargers, they apparently still have interest in acquiring Titans backup QB Billy Volek. The Chargers have only rookie Charlie Whitehurst behind starter Phillip Rivers, though they have a quarterback on the practice squad. Interestingly, San Diego has an open roster spot, as they have not replaced linebacker Steve Foley, who was shot in an off-field incident last week.
