Its was in OAKLAND Ca.With a big industry professional and C E O.turn out.People from other countries ,cities and state came out to meet greet and to embrass THE NORTHERN CALI KING OF SLAPS.Rick Rock was very informative clear and direct.Alot of journalist, media folks, radio persoalities, producers ,writers and corporate music aswel as tv officials left with a new or revitalized out look on BAY AREA MUSIC.It was a good look for all of northern cali music. This was long over due for the Multi Platinum Producer reppin the BAY.He spoke on the Bay supporting their own dj`s spining the records for northern cal artist. And the artist making industry quality records aka HITS.Hopefully we`ll see Rick Rock excepting a Grammy for Northern Cali soon.If and body else was there and got pics post sum.

I agree fam. I was out there at Maxwell's. It was a good look. Rick dropped a lot of game and threw a cold bucket of water in radio djs AND ARTISTS face!!!
The entertainment lawyer cat said there were more than twice as many people there than the rock events that the grammy organization throws. They need to reach back and have more of these FREE joints.

The Grammy hosts these events in the bay every now and then. The last one was with Big John Platt, and from an industry perspective, he's the best at what he does. He's the one that's gotten Jay-Z, Pharell, Kanye West, Rick Rock and so many more their publishing details. If any of you are willing to fork over a little bit of change, it's worth it to become a member of NARAS(National Acadamy of Recording Arts and Sciences). This is the company that puts on the Grammys. With a membership, you become a voting member and are kept notified about all of the Grammy events for the year. If anyone needs any information about anything having to do with the Grammy's, let me know and I'll take care of it.
