theyre trying to pass a law here where u will have to have a 100,000$ life insurance policy on your pit and i got an american staffordshire terrier which is pretty much the same thing as a pit but it isnt a pit do u think theyll make me get it on my dog even though it resembles a pit but its not, i heard in colorado pits are banned PERIOD just wonderin if any of youll states have any laws like this

It sucks but shit man pits are a wild card. We've had em in our family since I could remember. My last and final pit was named Dubb, trained and was the best acting dog I've ever had. He behaved better than children until one day he snapped at my niece out of no where. We had to give him to a friend of ours that had a ranch. When they are trained right they can be good dogs, but they can be too unpredictable and are much more dangerous than smaller pets.
man, my mom works for the Tulsa SPCA and they had a list of top 100 dogs that bite and the pit was like 98 i think and chiuhuas {forgive the spelling} were #1 its just when a pit does bite someone its all on the news and shit, cause they do do some damage when they attack but they just get such a bad rap i used to have 2 pits a black and an all brindle one and i remeber takin them to a park on the nice side of town theres all these rich fuckers out there with there little weenie ass dogs and shit and u would think i had the plague or somthin they avoided me like crazy lookin all scared and shit but they were freindly as fuck, unless u came at me fast and actin stupid that was yo ass but they wasnt gonna bite anyone just on GP like they thought, and there was this lady with some little rich people dog when i walk by she stands on the side to wait for me to pass and her little dog lunged at my dog and of course my dog aint gonna take that shit and he got all hyped up and shit and i said get ur dog u southside bitch and i guess it was her boyfreind acted like he was gonna run up on me, well then my dog turned his attention to the dude and my homie was with me walkin my bridle one and then that one got hyped up and the homie said that wouldnt such a good idea dude stepped back real quick then they start talkin shit u shouldnt have those kinda dogs here blah blah blah, so we walk off and about ten minutes later securtiy rolls up on us telling me to get my dogs outta here, i was like WTF!!!! that bitches dog lunged at mine, and dude was actin like he was gonna fight me and u expect my dogs not to do anything and security wasnt even tryin to hear my side he just seen two pits and that bitch complaining and of course im the bad guy so i said fuck you to the security and left
