Here are pics from last night's vigil for Mac Dre in the Crest. Basically it was a big party in the street in rememberence of the Legend. Peeps were dancing on top of cars, gas-brake-dippin, havin sideshows, smokin, slumpin damn every Mac Dre song, just having big fun. Popo tried shutting it down a few hours into it, but they just wound up clearing the road and left. After that it was on again.
We were at least 300-600 deep(maybe more) posted up on the intersection of Mark Ave & Leonard St.
Mac Dre's stomping grounds, "On the Mark Ave, up unda the trees"
Someone played Too Hard For The Radio and it was on
WHAT, THIZZ WHAT!?!
Someone played Thizzelle Dance and EVERYONE got down
Boss Tycoon'in
Cuddie in a red IROC swangin it
Let it be known that there were no fights, funkin, or anything like that. It was a huge celebration in honor of the life of Mac Dre. Everyone had a fun time, and honestly it could possibly be one of the dopest events I've ever been to in my life. Everyone could feel the positive energy, and we know Mac Dre was there in spirit.
