Damn hogg thats a good first post..,.glad to see ya made it on the siccness.what ways do you think a movement would benefit,or how would we execute a movemet.Alot of people are talkin about a movement.Are you talkin about collabin,sharin plugs.I dont beleive everyone should collab...unless it makes sense..like you both would sound hot on a track.I feel that we should help educate as far as whats working,what isnt cause the game is forever changing,and with all this experience it would save some from falling into the same traps.I feel we should help as far as steer people to who they can get artwork,pressing,flyers,etc. The thing is we all grown men,and no one has to do anything,but I would like to see the more experienced members...such as irocc,E-low,Mitch,Lil C.S.,take an active roll,I know Lil c.s. is on the path,and irocc is down,but maybe it starts with creating a thread that is constructive...instead of the threads that put all the energy of asasinating someones character.I aint perfect,Ive been involved ,but Im learning,and trying to be more productive in a positive way.....Its challenging cause we feel strong about our music,our friends,and sometimes cant seperate personal beefs with business.In closing I feel alot of people wanna see dago blow,and the westcoast to prosper again,but with out action,its jsut talk.If its gonna happen we gotta organize a bit,or start throwing some ideas around
O.k I feel ya hogg,There have been numerous posts on this forum over the many months Ive been on her and alot of threads start like this.....who is the hottest?....who is the hardest?.....whos the best rapper?...who is the best producer?.....Ultimitley these threads have a negative impact,because they instill in the beleif that there can only be one. so lets start up like this...Hogg what do you need to help you..besides money.What kind of plugs are you looking for?,and in turn if someone came to you and asked for some help,what could you do? Im not trying to make this a trick question....I Again say that everyone may have something to offer,and if you dont its still cool.I wanna say that rasan from the jetsons hooked me and young sau up recently and asked for nothing...wich is rare..and I told him whenever he needs anything,if I can help I will.It is people lie rasan who are activley helping the movement,I think there is too much talent and inteligence for us not too prosper.We have al the tools to make it happen.....for example..lets just say...that when ecays project comes out each member,hands out 100 flyers for him...that would help,if each member supported and bought his album,and nagged all there friends to buy it unti they did and had there friends do the same....sounds a li far fetched but these are just quick examples of each person who cares about dago and the movement to get inovolved,maybe someone knows someone who will make some flyers at cost....I personaly feel nemo and te siccness are open to ideas,and ways where if we hep them they would help us...even though this site alone is help enough.....I say that this siccness mag is mandatory for everyone...I am not gonna sit and wait til I see it somewhere...enquire and make it happen...anyone who reads this..you dont have to be an artist to be part of this movement,and whether you realize this or not siccness is a valuable tool...the bigger the siccness the more possible fans you can get....anyways Im trying to spark some ideas.Ive also said I would try and help with what I can.Ive had a few private messages and responded to evryone
i understand everything you are saying but everybody is already playing there part, its only so much one man or one team can do in my opinion, but everybody is bringing there own gifts to the table rather it be mitch getting constant air play in L.A or I Rocc Getting Rotation in the central valley which could possibly open doors for other acts from this area to be able to shine on that same arena stage and thats all with out him, them or they giving up any plugs. the siccness mag is also a tool every artist releasing good albums and mixtape's is a tool keep giving the ppl something they can appreciate and all with fall in order. the movement is the title everyone might not see eye to eye but in reality most are pushing for tha same goals. my time out here i have seen this music game grow and it looks like its only getting better with the time. just my opinion if it matters. lol
