oh shit. that is pretty tight. nickatina just lays low and is never mentioned by ppl on here when theres talks about bay rap, but hes actually one of the mcs truly getting shit done. though the east coast does seem to be more about lyrics than actually having a good sounding flow, so i wonder how theyll respond to nicky t

The fuck did you just say? East coast is more about the lyrics? Do you actually listen to everything in a song or just cuz it "sounds nice"

nickatina can move the crowd. i just hope he doesnt rap over his own lyrics. its not just him as i've seen a couple bay rappers perform over their own cd. i just think its better if they'd rap over instrumentals at least.

i read half of wu-tang will be in the building.... i started a thread about nicky in ny at (AHH) hardly no response...
hopefully alot of ny artist show up and feel his rap. maybe will see some collabs in the upcoming year....

good luck king nicky, cats going to be loving his beats....

i'll be in the house with nickatina tonight and i'm bringin some WU cats, timboking, hell razah, masta killa and u-god to the show, Gonzoe is stayin with me this week and he'll be in the house for the show as well as old school legend rob base and kyle riffkin. i also invited DART from shady records so he can see king nicky do what he do. i'll have the camera and will try to get some clean pics. gonzoe leaves nyc for germany for several shows and hes trying to bring nickatina with him to germany and amsterdam for shows on new years.

yeah thats exactly what i said. i think east coast rappers and fans value lyricsm more than sound and flow. i do actually listen to everything in a song, and i guarantee the mcs i listen to would lyrically shit on any rappers you listen to. probably the only two rappers that i definitely dont listent to because of their lyrical genius - mac dre and nickatina. sometimes im not in the mood to listen to some intricate lyrical hip hop and ill pop in some mac dre using simple rhymes talking about typical gangsta/party shit or nickatina rapping about, like dude said above, unicorns and strawberry cheescakes. no disrespect to them. i enjoy them as artists, but i dont consider them lyrical. and i just think new yorks fans value lyricism more than west coast fans do. i was just saying i wonder how fans over there will respond to some of nickys raps like "my favorite color's blue, i like the number 2" i dig it, hopefully they will too

situation critical or my rap world...thats what he should perform. the first time i saw nickatina perform he rocked the spot with baking soda in minnesota.
