i dont even fuck with the bay cept only bout 5 artists/group thats still and been in this game for more then 8-10 years...it's just not the same anymore and never will be unless they change BEATS and come up with new shit..then we'll see how it sounds...i bet cha for those of you cats that still think Bay area is alive or new rappers are fuccin raw...aint gonna sell shit and only peeps from around ya way from da bay gon listen to it...it aint like how it use to be like peeps from other states and other city's from cali buyin classic cd's from the bay...you people need to start gettin together and organizin ya shit...other wise ya bay rappers aint gonna be shit in the game

Im not down with tha beats nowadyas, and tha way some of tha flows go, sounds like some east coast stuff...jus aint diggin em...if I want east coast Ill buy east coast, but mane if I want that bay area flavor, Ill go with tha old bay area shit that i grew up with, slumps, heavy basslines, etc....bottom line, if I go to italy I want real italian food, NOT french, NOT spanish, NOT german, BUT italian food...same thing with tha bay rap...I want bay rap!!...
to me this new bay is gonna blow. what i consider the new bay is new and old bay artist such as
Federation they have that hard ass song wit E40 on the radio Hyphy! that song is getting some attention towards the bay.
Keak da Sneak is killing them wit that white t-shirt blue jeans and nike.
Frontline ( Locksmith and Left) feat E a ski iono what the song is called but its hard. it gets decent radio play.
these three songs have been getting a lot of radio play. to me the new bay is keak da sneak, san quinn, locksmith, left, balance, e a ski, mr kee, dutch, dap daniels, federation and thats it. i dont hear the old bay on the radio. the new bay is getting more play right now then the old bay. i dont know why the "old bay" is bitching at least the new bay are gettting spins on the radio. now a days nobody wants to hear the "old bay" they want shit that gets them crunk, hyphy or whater u want to call it in the club. so to me the "old bay" is what it means the old bay. and now the new bay is coming forward.

The Bay is different from any place in this country (esp. on a music level) literally 1 out of every 3 dudes raps, makes beats or knows a cat that raps so alot of will be rootin for "they nigga" to make it. Bay fans are so stretched out that it's hard for anybody to make it.
I think if everybody "NEWBAY or OLDBAY" do quality music we can come up, but we in the land of hustle so artist be cuttin corners. Get ya shit mixed and mastered, go find a quality producer to make ya tracks don't just look at it as "I'm just gone trow this album out..." thats why we fucked in the industry now-to much bullshit not enough quality.
I work wit every body from Balance, The Team and (of course) The Frontline (Left & Locksmith) to EA-SKI, San Quinn and Richie Rich so it's all good wit the artist.
Like I said before lets make quality shit that we are truly proud of and let it get us to where ever we tryin to get.

Man, good lookin out. We are finishing up the album right now. We are in the process of talkin to a few major lables right now so that we can weigh out all of the options as to what we are going to do. Our album will be called "WHO R YOU" and all we tryin to do is put out a quality album. We tryin to keep our features and production credits on raps for now, but trust me we got some good shit on this album. I'll keep ya posted and we are working on our website right now.
