If you are just begining, I would recomend to try and stay away from filters. They tend to give it a "cheap" look if not used right...I would also pay attention to your type, when it comes to bleeds... Not all text should be "bleedable"...the actual pic looks good though..

Never use default settings on filters (or don't use them at all they're so cheesy looking).

I'd say change that overlay setting from darken to something else..I think thats what it is..

agree...cuz the pic would have been better off just by itself and some nice simple text...

also, the text on top looks stretched, and the text above it is too close to the edges.

Also, if this was meant to be a cover, then the measurements are way off. A cover is supposed to be a perfect square.
