Okay, I'll give you some constructive criticism.
First and foremost, I give you credit for the filming / editing. It looks like the majority of independent videos that come through here (not being negative, just stating that fact.)
The real problem for me (on so many levels) is the fact that your bringing it across as an official remix. Here is the issue I have with independents: They send an email, post on a message board, message me on myspace, facebook, or send a text message asking to listen to "The Reeeeeeeeeeeemix" when in reality they rapped over an instrumental that had the hook / verse from the official artist on it.
Now videos are being made? Wow! (applause) thank you for taking that much time in doing something that's not yours to begin with. That's just as bad as buying a car under my name and you make the payments simply because I let you drive it from time to time. In the end, no matter if you pay the car off, it'll never be yours as long as it's under my name. Then you think about it and you could of used all that money you spent on my car to buy your own. See what I'm saying?
It's things like this, that makes people look at us independents as idiots & not take us serious. So the day some independent has an actual feature from a known artist on his / her album... the consumer is already looking at it as "Fake." Which is causing a domino effect to the rest of us.
It's important for us independents to step it up across the country and stop b.s'ing with fake songs / features & videos. The same way you get online and promote your video that's fake. Is the energy / time you should take to connect with others across the country and collab with them... really getting your name out there in the fold. Utilize the internet to it's full capability and make it work for you.
That's simply my opinion and just know that here on the Siccness, it's the nicest, I repeat, "NICEST" feedback your gonna get to something like this.
Good luck, Breh.
