Yes,he will even be better than Michael. He can stick a point guard,he can guard any center besides Shaq. He's a first team defender,a great scorer, above average rebounder(for being primarily a perimeter player). Also,he can play lanes tough and get steals.I know he has no championships, and has'nt done shit in the playoffs, but you gotta remember Jordan did'nt get his rings for awhile either.I'm not anti Laker,or anyone else, but I believe he WILL BE the greatest basketball player ever.

Shaq
McGrady
Duncan
Webber
Kobe

Top 5 right now......please believe it

Sonics 4-0
Hawks 3-1....oh boy.....comin outta the East

He's playing a man's game amongst boys right now, but he'll never be the GOAT. Today's players are mostly 10 (years) and out guys. You really think you're Kobe's, Iverson's, Carter's and T-Macs are gonna be coming off the bench when they're 39 and 40? Nope. This generation of players lacks long-term devotion and commitment. All great in their own right, but they've all cashed in big time very early in their careers. It's all about the money and the money is already secured.

Plus T-Mac has two bulging disks in his back and those injuries don't "get better" over time, they get worse. Such is the life of a professional athlete. Everytime I turn around Iverson is hitting the floor. Dude's body can't take that kind of punishment over a long period of time (8-10 years). His body is gonna start falling apart. Look at Carter, dude's knees seem to be shot and he's gonna be the next Hill/Hardaway ("coulda, shoulda, woulda").

Actually number 6 in my book......But again & again, no one will ever come close to MJ!! Period!! Magic Johnson is the 2nd greatest b-ball player of alltime, and he aint even in MJ's league!! C'mon dude, Mcgrady will never be the greatest of alltime!!! But only time will tell!!

Top 10
1. Allen Iverson
2. Shaquille O'Neal
3. Tim Duncan
4. Kevin Garnett
5. Chris Webber
6. Tracy McGrady
7. Kobe Bryant
8. Paul Pierce
9. Jason Kidd
10. Dirk Nowitzki

Real talk. I think the reason why he wont be coming off the bench in 10 years is also because there is going to be some other 20-25 year old player capable of doing what hes doing now, and they wont need him as much.

Are you really comparing a dude who stands out on the bump and throws balls now and then to a professional basketball player who plays every game? Now THAT is laughable. If all T-Mac had to do was throw every now and then, therapy would carry him for many years. Being a basketball player is far more athletically demanding then being a MLB pitcher. You might as well compared the "athletic prowess" of a NASCAR driver to Jerry Rice. C'mon dude. Let's keep it real.

YOUR TWISTING MY WORDS!!We're comparing bulging discs, not if Mario Andretti can run fly routes for the Broncos...LOL

Do you play baseball?Have you ever pitched 9 innings and thrown 125 pitches?I have

I've played basketball forever, and I'm tellin you right now, pitching is exhausting and so rigorous it's hard to describe.Johnson has probably bent over like that 100,000 times....but yet still can do it.

I laugh at anyone who thinks A.I. is in the top 10,let alone Number 1......hahahahahahahahahahahahahalolhahahahahalol
You will never be took serious again dogg....WOW

In 10 years McGrady is like......33?34 maybe

Gary Payton is still runnin point for 42 minutes a night,he's like 34.....git real,McGrady off the bench......lol,new guy take his place....hahaha

And if his backs so bad,why is he puttin up 40 a night, with a great FG% ?

For now on I only argue with people who have actually played competitive sports........for real

most entertaining player to watch...6 foot..shortest player ever to win a scoring title..and he's decided to do it a few times...

...and damn that quickness!.

remember when he schooled MJ one-on-one...put the crossover on him and hit the jumper in his face....god damn...favorite play ever

Ok bammer u hurt my feelings......NOT!! U think I care if u take me serious potna!! Dogg u dont exist to me, so say what u say!! I got an opinion just like u! What makes your opinion any better than mine??? Please answer that!! A.I. is 6 foot tall 165 pounds playin 2 guard!! I know hella other 2 guards who couldnt stay in the league cause they either werent tall enough or big enough! My boy Iverson has more heart than any player in the league!! He is definitely the most talented player in the league! To be able to average 30 points a game and not have any other good players on the team and still lead them to the playoffs and the finals once is tremendous!! The man goes to the hole better than any one, and gets knocked down and somes back for more!! Cant no one fuck wit Iverson in the league!! U can say what u want, but if u say different, do u think its gonna change what I think?? Hell NO!!! GOT EM!!

Yet again, I stand by what I said. These young dudes are way paid. So much in fact, they chose to sit back on their laurels when called to play for the U.S. or the Allstar game *coughKobe,Shaq, etc.cough* It's nothing to them.

These young bucks aren't gonna be playing into their late 30's I'm telling you.

I was just watchin "Pardon The Interruption" on ESPN, and they had a McGrady topic, and were debatin the best player in the game! The only players mentioned were McGrady, Iverson, & Kidd!! One guy took McGrady & the other guy took Iverson!! So I aint the only one Bammer who has Iverson not only in the top 10, but #1!!!!! Check game first playa!!! GOT EM!!

Yeah Iverson is the #1 selfish player in the leugue...(Please)....That guy is a Vicious talent but is way to selfish with the rock...I think if A-I was more unselfish he might have some Rings to show off....As far as #1 player in the leaugue...No WAY!

That place belongs to the ZILLA...

You make a good arguememt, but these players are coming in from highschool that they will have 15-20 Year under there belt they won't have to play til they are 40.

Tracy Mcgrady is unreal!! Pretty impressive scoring 40+ points against one of the most dominant teams in the pacific Division. Boy I am glad hes on my Fantasy Basketball team :)

I think any player will be able to play in the leaugue at age 40 and up if his conditioning is elite and if they work hard to keep there bodys in elite condition....The ones who dont put the work in are the ones who arent gonna make it...

Its all about how hard you want to be the best and what type of work ethic you have to maintain that shape for these young all-star players in the NBA...

Again we all know who is the most selfish player in the league!! Hint Hint (Kobe Bryant) but I wont say no names!! If Iverson was on L.A. nad not Kobe, he would have 3 rings as well!! Iverson will fade Kobe any day!!
