THE ONLY DISCREPANCY I C WITH THAT ALBUM IS THAT SOME NON-MUSLIMS MAY NOT APPRECIATE IT AS MUCH BECAUSE JACKA PREACHES ISLAM THROUGHOUT THE ALBUM.
IM NOT MUSLIM, AND I PERSONALLY DONT CARE-ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS; THATS THE ONLY "KNOCK" I CAN FIND, AND IT DOESNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME.

I would've wanted more beats like the one on Can't Breath Without Me. you know those cocainesynths and all that made jacka seem a bit different from all the others. but on jack artist every beat has the same concept and though jacka is still rippin it the beats bores me out because none of them stands out.

slightly dissappointed but jacka is still one only ones with something new and own shit poppin!!

For some reason I thought he wasn't gon' come wit it like he did on his 1st cd but I was wrong like a mufucka cause The Jack Artist is real nice. I just put it away after bumpin it for 2 weeks straight.

@CFDT, I feel what you sayin on them beats. He kinda use them Kanyish beats a lot wit the female singin in the background and shit. But the beats tight though and I think they kinda fit his style.

I was just gonna start a thread about this....being muslim, I think its pretty cool the way he preaches throughout the album. But if I wasn't I would get hella pissed off, because I don't preach what I believe in cuz I know others dont like that shit. I was wondering what you guys thought....

WELL, I LISTENED TO EM BEFORE I KNEW ANY OF THE MOB FIGAZ WERE MUSLIM (I KNO JACK AND HUS ARE). IT SEEMED LIKE HE FOCUSED ALOT MORE ON ISLAM ON THIS ALBUM, THAN IN PREVIOUS SONGS BUT IT DIDNT MAKE ME THINK ANY LESS OF THE ALBUM. ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.

I been listenin to the album pretty much non stop since the day it dropped, feelin the fuck outta this one.

about the muslim thing, I'm not muslim but I can feel what he's sayin to a certain extent. hes just rappin about his life and what he knows, and obviously his faith is a big part of it

Shit was straight heat,i like how Rob Lo's sound incorperates different elements of styles,i think dude's sampling is right up there with Kanye's but with a yay twist

I'm feelin Jacka's style,i also like the fact that he speaks on his faith,it allows the listener to view things from a different perspective.I also like the fact that he has a conscious side and speaks about the downside of street life.

My only minor nitpick is that there's too many features,most were nice,but i felt it could've used a few more Jacka verses.........

Still,a great album and worth the scrill............

Man the support you guys have given has been nothing less than spectacular! I want to let yall know Jacka appreciates it. Its been a good two weeks...solid sales and gearing up for a big few months of hitting the road and promoting. Also look for Jacka in a lot of magazines and other forms of media soon..

Get the Murder Dog Magazine..there are good articles on Jacka and the rest of the Mob Figz...
