.. if my C Drive crashed. i have literally 4243 songs on my laptop, i got some rare shit on here too, all kinds of genres.... anyway, i was wondering if there are any good ways to backup my songs? becuase everytime i burn a cd, a 'Low Disk Space' bubble pops up, i'm fearing my C Drive will crash. and i already use C-Cleaner. i'm short on money so i can't buy a Flash Drive (that can hold 4000 songs) yet. i was thinking about putting all my songs in a RAR file and emailing it to myself.... anyone else have any ideas?

4243 songs on a rar file would be waaaaaaaaay too much for any e-mail or file sharing service to handle. like emma said, burn dvds or get an external hard drive

what's a flash drive? my shit crashed and I only had about 1,000 songs on here...I'm not really trippin though I'm a stoner so it's not like I remember what I had on here anyways...if I did I'd probably be really depressed lol. but yeah I should get a flash drive cause I'm already putting hella shit on here but what exactly is that?

don't get a flash drive, they're only good for transferring shit from computer to computer.....its a waste of money unless you need your files with you at all time (since the fit on a keychain) besides, the cost of a gigabyte is just under $100 depending on where you go....spend an extra $50 and get like 60-150 gigabyte hard drive

if you have an Ipod you can just save them onto that by using the ipod like a hard drive. if not a dvd is the best way to go you would be able to hold a lot of songs on one dvd.
