I know I havent been on the Strange forum in a while, but I read a thread that stated whether or not you are a dickrider and a list of things that determined if you were.

Not exactly tough guy...

1. You said, You think that Tech N9ne is the greatest rapper of all time(he can be your favorite, but not the greatest... It is possible that Tech is the greatest. Imma tell you why... because it all lies up to that person. It is never a General statement that dictates whether or not he is the best! Who decides if an artist is the greatest??? Should we leave it up to television, radio, VH1, The SOURCE, XXL??? They dont know shit, we all know it'll be biased... Its all up to that person, we cant leave it up to the media. Shit, I think that Wal-Mart is the "greatest" retail store, McDonalds has the "greatest" $1 menu, Tech has the "greatest" fan base and following next to Pres. Bush, The Klan and ICP, Venezuela has the "greatest" gas prices... DOES IT MATTER? Its all up to whomever thinks what is the greatest.

2. If you would've thought of Techs second verse from Slacker, you would've used it for yourself. I am starting to believe that you did some crazed fan evaluation of Techs music yourself to find that out. Just because it registered in your head by what you think the 2nd verse sounds like quicker than the rest of the world means absolutely nothing. People disagree and it doesnt make them dickriders. We know he samples verses, we cant deny that. If they decide not to agree with you on that one, your all alone with your thoughts.

3. You believe that Nick and Rob are the Know-it-alls on the siccness. Looks like you are a victim of some sort of following yourself and dont want to admit it. It seems as if you are SWINGING from they're balls to me. Are they the only informative people on here??? Makes me think that you are down at Chapmans butting in conversations about Strange's work, got astounded and declared them the masters of knowledge. Maybe you conversate with Nick through email or a lil' phone tag. Nick knows shit indeed, but in other words Nick and Rob to you are the "greatest!!!"

4. Now, if you were at Chapmans and you met Tech at 2:45pm, chop it up for 5 minutes and at 2:50pm Travis and Kutt walks in, Tech introduces you to Travis as his "HOMIE," do you deny it and tell Tech he doesnt know you, or call him a dickrider??? Now, some people do get out of hand talking about they know who Tech is, but I am 110% sure that you wouldnt say the same to him...

5.Whats wrong with handing out flyers for Strange? You know what, those same people you call dick riders who actually enjoy themselves while passing out shit to support Strange are the same muthafuckas that are putting new people on to Tech while lazy ass muthafuckas wanna sit back and talk shit on their efforts. I am sure one of those deranged obsessed fans tossed you a flyer or a snippet years back. To those of you that travel and drive 100s of miles to support Tech, thanks for everything. Someone has to do it. Strange shows love to those that show love to them, so why not? Tech is "great,"Strange is "great" can you deny that...?

6.I got one for you... If you say the word "NICK" more than 3 times in any post on any given day you are a "dickrider"... Man, leave it alone, you are letting us all know that you talk to Nick late nights on the weekend inquiring about what he got in his inbox or voicemail. You are too concerned with what other people think.

7. For those of you that have STRANGE decals on your vehicles, the shit aint gay, I had one on the back of my SUV and I can tell you now, pussy loves Strange, pussy loves Tech, I've hooked up with bitches that followed me just to see who was in the truck. Ive had a few fans that just want to know where to get a decal from or what Tech has going on. Of course I am affiliated, but you dont go telling Juggalos to take the Hatchetman off the back of their windows. If you go to Tint Pro and they put tinting on your windows for a discount, they will surely slap an advertistment on the back window.

In other words, you can do anything to the extreme as long as it isnt Tech N9ne or Strange related?

I am in no way offended by your thread BrandonAliaz... You were on a roll for a second, but it got out of hand. No one is gonna have three conversations with those that roll with Strange, float around the forum and one day decide to bash muthafuckas like that. You gotta put in work in here playa. These people have dedication that most dont and if it wasnt for those people a lot of this shit wouldnt survive.

first of all the reason i said tech cant be the greatest rapper of all time is because there is no greatest rapper of all time. its all a matter of opinoin. second of all i dont ride rob's or nick's nutts, in fact i think i have talked to nick one time in my entire life although i am friends with rob.rob is the full time engineer for strange, so i dropped his name because i know that he knows what he is talking about. i dropped nicks name because he knows more then any one who posts on here, that doesnt make me a dick rider. if you are talking about boxing you might drop emanuel stuards name twenty times just because he knows what he is talking about. third of all i wouldnt use tech's second verse, i think he bit too hard on it. that is a known fact, regardless of your opinion. i dont ever butt in anyone's conversations at chapman's at all, unless i am directly speaking to someone from strange, i dont worry about what is being talked about.last of all i meant people talk like tech is their best friend after their one or two times talking to him, and it just makes them sound like they are riding. although ill never agree to the car decals, you can do whatever you want to your vehicle.

im glad that my thread let this many people voice their opinions....

Like I said, there "can" be greatest rappers because its an un-written, agreed upon debate that leaves it all in the hands of whoever feels that way. You never stated that "its all a matter of opinion!" You blatantly called muthafuckas out and called them dickriders because it fell below your list of unacceptable things to Mr.BrandonAliaz... You said it, deal with it.

Then you go on talking about how Nick knows this and Nick knows that, and then put your foot in your mouth when you said you only talked to him "like one time in your entire life". Either you know not what you talk of, or you are dickriding... Simple as that. If you dont know Nick, dont speak. Who told you that Nick and Rob were the informers anyways. Did Travis tell you that or Tech??? If you say one of those two, then I'd agree with you.

Well if Tech bit a verse too hard, thats your opinion to you. For those of us that like it, let us like it. If you feel as if it irritates you that much, press fast forward.

You only butt in conversations unless its Strange??? Then you are butting in somewhere.

Now, I dont have no beef with you whatsoever, it gets crazy the way mofos try and run shit like every decision and oddity is their duty to make it public. If they feel that way, then it is my decision to set shit straight. I aint no follower and I wont let someone elses reply dictate which direction I take to speak.

Simply put, if you know Tech you are immune on the Siccness, Been on here long enough 95% immune, Your cool with a majority of the people on the Siccness and they will laugh or follow your lead, 95% immune. Even an idiot from day one when Strange Forum was erected has immunity. The new people get it the hardest as well as Jugglaos. I dont give two shits, but I aint about to let people run from the Siccness cause they gotta get blasted for asking what you or others might think is the obvious. Unless its Zer0, then your on your own... Hahaha...

That happened to Speedy (Vertigo) a couple of years ago in Columbia....plus he took the shot out of a 151 bottle cap...so he burnt his hand too.



ON-Topic:

It's incredible how people are so quick to call someone a dick rider for things so trivial. And when you think about it.....it's only rap fans who get that label. One can love a rock band, buy their t-shirts, get metallica tatoos and think their favorite band is the greatest ever.....but i dont see an abundance of those people being called a "dick rider" or something similar. Because why should they? They are only supporting people they enjoy being entertained by.


And someone else brought up an excelent point....a lot of people REP THE FUCK out of a sports team. Buy a coat, hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts, jerseys, watches, posters, banners, flags, memorabilia....even paying huge money for autographs. I'm like that with michigan. There are millions of other people who are like that too. But they aren't being called dick riders......they are fans. They are only supporting people they enjoy being entertained by.

Where is the difference? Someone explain.

While I agree...when people want to know what is going on with Tech's daily life, where he's at (kc or la?), etc. then there is a line being crossed. But because Tech has made himself so open to his FANS....the line is blurred sometimes. And some people, who usually have no comon sense, will make these comments and pose these questions about Tech's personal life. But I dont think we are really talking about those people. We're talking about FANS who are only supporting people they enjoy being entertained by.

yeah ready or not and azmattaz i posted the thread you can call me a dumb ass or whatever you want, but if im such a dumb ass you shouldnt let what i think get under your skin, and yes the thread was meant to be humorous

second of all, i dont talk to a lot of rockers but i could say a lot of the same things in a metallica forum, that were posted in the tech forum, although the point about the sports team was a good one, i will agree with that

thanks to everyone that posts their opinion on my thread, i enjoy reading everyone's views

Id have to say Nick hit the nail on the head with his post. 151 will set your ass on fire.

I would contribute to all of this, but pretty much all sides of the argument have been stated. If you look at the "dick riding and car stickers" post I said somethin in there about music being such a big part of some peoples lives they feel the need to celebrate it in some way that might seem fanatical to people who aren't as moved by music as others.
