I saw this guy on mtv tonight, he is from England and he was talking about his favorite rappers. he said his top three are jay-z, e-40 and 2pac. then they played his video. the song was really wierd and he raps kinda weird and high pitched.

But has anyone heard of him? what do you think? he is being compared to 50 cent I guess cause he was stabbed a bunch of times

yup he's part uv Roll Deep Crew..

as for being jucked bare times i dunno if thats true. all i know is he been jumped hella times cos i know people who seen it happen. lol. So he dont roll like 50 wid half of NYPD tuggin on his coat tail. i dunno how the fuck you can compare the 2.

i dunno, i cant really make an opinion him. i cant make my mind up if i like it or not. i dont hate it....

when i first heard 'I luv u' i thought it was raw compared to most of the garage. then UK garage started to become UK hip hop pop afta that. yawn.

Sucks

Hippsters in trucker hats don't like anything good.

Those are the only people in the US that listen to that crap. And why? Because he's british, so it's cool. OOOO he's really pushing the limits of the art form cuz he says yardie instead of thug, or whatever the fuck. It's all weak shit. Your favorite rapper's gay stylist, or a desision maker over at MTV (your favorite VJ's gay stylist), is most likely a Dizzee Rascal fan. Anyone in the US that's wearing a trucker hat and/or some van dutch is on there way, if they haven't started already, to listening to dizzy rascal.

it's not that he's British so he's cool...Gotta Get off that homey....it's cuz he's younG and won the mercury prize (beat out some major music artists for that award too)...that's what the hype is...and he does have shit to say, it's just that the hip-hop i heard out there was more on a spoken word level...they're seriously laccin in the beat department, and they're not really on beat when they rap either...it's just the way they do it
