HARDNOX & BALANCE:

“2-AS-1” THE REMIX!
Attention: Radio, Mixtapes, the streets and anybody who has their head outta their ass and sees the latest and the best outta Northern California clearly!

Hardnox, the artist/production team of brothers Danny Boy and Jimbo out of Concord have teamed up with Balance to bring you the remix to “2-As-1”. The club-ready remix marries the two very different styles of Hardnox and Balance over production from Hardnox. “We always like to flip it on the listeners,” says Danny Boy. “We like to do things that the audience isn’t going to expect or imagine. Hardnox is the crazy hip-hop/rockin’ white boys from Concord and Balance, coming from Oakland, represents the best from the streets right now in the Bay. Balance reminds Jim and I of why we fell in love with Bay Area hip-hop and west coast hip-hop.”

The collaboration came about when Balance was referred to Hardnox for CD Duplication. “I came through their office for some CD’s of my latest mixtape and they took me into their studio and started playing me songs, beats, and all these things they are working on…I was completely blown away. They showed me ‘2-As-1’ and I fell in love with the track…they said let’s do a remix and the rest is what you’re now hearing.”

Hardnox and Balance got in the studio a week later and made the remix while filming the entire process. Footage of the session is already available on www.hardnoxproductions.com and www.balanceskillz.com and will be included with upcoming releases.

“It was a pleasure working with Balance in the studio. We all possess the same goals, drive and professionalism…we’re just all on the same page, it felt real natural working with him,” says Jimbo.

Hardnox will soon be releasing their album “Garage Sale” which has already caught the ears of heavy-hitters such as Jermaine Dupri. Balance will be releasing his LP “The Day Kali Died” and has already generated a huge buzz on the streets. Both projects are set for release this summer.

Balance says, “You will be hearing a lot from both of us in the future…we are definitely going to be spending more time together in the studio so lookout! The Bay is back and it’s gonna sound like what you’d never expect.”
