but anyways, why the fuck would they do another LA videogame. True Crime Streets of LA isnt enough? Besides, the bay got way better scenery for a video game. Think about the ability to role down Dolores with the palm trees, the 2 bridges, Embarcadero and Pac Bell, downtown Market, Twin Peaks all the way out to the beaches in the Sunset.

It's rubbed Congress the wrong way, enraged parents and was even name-checked as an election issue in 2000. Now, this October, "Grand Theft Auto" — Rockstar Games' mega-million-selling video-game series — is back and headed for the Bay Area.
Say goodbye to Liberty City and Vice City; the fifth edition of "GTA" takes yet another member of the Vercetti crime family to "San Andreas" — not San Francisco, although the resemblance is uncanny. Rockstar Games describes it as a city filled with "old-world Latin charm and new-order Pacific Rim technology" that has strong ties to the Orient after a "fools' gold rush."
The move to San Andreas means postponing two possible "GTA"s: "Bogota" and "Sin City," both of which were names licensed by Rockstar.
This time around, users will encounter rival gangs like the Chinatown Triads, Mexican mobs, hippies, Hare Krishnas and many more.
"Vice City" sold more than 30 million copies and spawned a successful box set soundtrack; a similar album is planned for this edition, although details are under wraps.
"GTA: San Andreas" is already available for preorder through various online retail sites. Once again the game will initially only be available for PS2, so start sucking up to Santa.

tell me if im totaly off but if there lookin for the hardest city in cali, i dont know how oakland didnt get it. they gotta have they reasons but its just another time when the bay is getting over looked... o except for sf but im tired of movies and shit bein in san fran(and most ppl look at cali as a gay state cus of sf, even though its put out sum of the best rappers... nickatina just to name one). ive never seen a single movie thats in oakland. all im sayin is do sumthin new that aint been done hella times

I guess we'll just have to see when it comes out. Don't be suprised if you are disappointed. I was shocked to see that one driving arcade game, I think it's called california rush, had all kinds of shit, even the boardwalk in santa cruz. It would be tight to have it in the bay, but who knows. I think Las vegas would be sick. you know they have major mobb moves goin on in vegas
