GTA IV info

November 28, 2007 - GTA IV's delay from its original October 2007 release left many gamers sad. But cheer up, Rockstar fans. The delay means we can enjoy several more months of delicious hype. The promising new installment in the Grand Theft Auto saga is coming in the first half of 2008. And as a new post on Rockstar's website revealed, we can expect the next GTA IV trailer on December 6, 2007 at noon PST. Check back with IGN next Thursday to see the new trailer in all its glory.

Rockstar also unveiled the official box art for GTA IV. The art appears to reveal several of the major players in GTA IV. You can check it out for yourself by casting your scrolling down this very page. And no, that is not IGN's Jessica Chobot in the upper-left quadrant.

The big boss of Take Two has commented that the Grand Theft Auto IV is vastly going to be better than expectations and that is something which is considerably hard to achieve when expectations are naturally high for the next instalment. Zelnick also stated that GTA was benefiting from a delay in its release.

gta has paved the way for some of these games, like saints row, scarface, godfather.. etc. Except GTA has alot more freedom in the game.

supposedly they are saying that how gta3 shook gaming an forever changed it, they are not only trying to mimic that affect on gaming today, but surpass it by introducing a whole new plethera of options. im guessing that gta san andreas wasnt only going out with a bang on current consoles, but testing new ideas
