How you a man waitin' for the next man to get rich?
Yo' plan is to stick out yo' hand real quick
So if he feed ya family and he serve you shit
Then he need that head you get and he deserve your bitch
Since you wishin' cash fall from the sky all ya life
Dwellin' on the past when you was alright
When you was gettin' cash but wasn't too bright
Now ya luck down you feel like, bustin' them shells
Nobody owe you, can't do nothin' for self
Want niggaz to show you, how to come up wit' green
I scheme since I'm fourteens, what the fuck was your dream?
Rental cars, little broads, sayin' you was seen
Wit' little niggaz wit' a chain you was doin' ya thing
How high was I? You the thousandth guy
That came around thinkin' we can see, eye to eye
We on a different echelon, coulda got bread together
Now you gets deaded on

The different between looking for a hand out and opening a door is different.
Both are opportunities, but they are different extremes.
Obviously, when you ask for a hand out.. you really dont want to do anything and ACTUALLY expect people to give you opportunities without any reason. If I was a rapper and I dont know/just met Game and said "give me a contract, give me money..etc".. I think that would be asking for a hand out. Not deserved.
But to open a door or give an opportunity is really a respect thing. Bekuz for some reason, you want to help someone out... and that could be simple as giving them studio time, jumping on their music, introducing them to the right people, hooking them up with other people that could help them.. Its more of a helping hand... which is what the west coast needs.
Game could be easily say "I feel your music and even though I cant sign you or put out your music, here is someone that might be interested".. or even point people in the right direction.
But that door of opportunity is all dependent on Game (for this example). If he is selfish, he wont do anything. Isnt that's why him and Fase had a falling out? Fase invested in Game (and Glasses Malone from what I understand) and in return he expected to be compensated or given a helping hand.. but when Game took his fame and ran with it... what happened is what was expected.
I just remember what Game said in that BET interview. "I got some artists (under me), but I aint gonna say their names... they gotta hustle like I did".
Opening the door is how many artists get put out. If Dre didnt fuck with Game, would he be where he at today? Or if 50 cent didnt do some songs with him, would he have gotten all that air play? If Lil Wayne didnt open the door (doesnt have to be wide open) would Jay Rock or even drake or tyga be where they at or have the buzz they have now?
