Turn on your spiritual ears, gentlemen, and hear him say under his breath, "...and I am the one who is here to fool and lie to you."
The very thing he preaches is what binds us to this material world. The prospect of being or becoming God is what constitutes false ego and the desire to lord over material nature. Material nature works in such a way that the stronger you think yourself as controller and enjoyer, the stronger material nature has a grip on you.
Vivek implies that because God is all-pervasive that that therefore means we are all God. The sun is vastly expanded due to it's 'sunshine' energy, but no sane person says that the sun globe itself is everywhere. What Vivek is doing is merging the sun globe with the sunshine and coming out with this monist, impersonalist philosophy that he would do well financially selling to Tony Robbins. Just as both the sun globe and sunshine exist, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His unlimitedly expansive energy both exist. Intelligence means making the proper discernment. It does not mean merging everything into some imaginated, homogenous totality.
