I dont like either but no doubt bout it mayweather is going to win this. Kind of a pointless ppv if you ask me. The public doesnt want to see that. Plus its Cinco De Mayo a mexican holiday a mexican fighter would would sell much more, imo.

Canelo will be on it and who knows, maybe they can get Victor Ortiz as well. A fight between them would be great but I'm almost positive it will be Canelo vs Mosley (which will probably set up a Canelo vs Mayweather fight around November).

As for the Floyd vs Cotto fight, I just don't think Cotto can be effective against Floyd so I predict a one sided fight and maybe floyd stops him late or wins a wide decision. The weight really isn't an issue in my mind since I've always felt Cotto has no real business at 154 pounds and is truly a welterweight.

so...how do you feel that your idol is now fighting (in your words) a "shot" fighter, manny's leftovers, who was never that good in the first place?
If you could read I have stated many times I would love to see Mayweather beat up on Cotto's overrated ass. This fight is going to be Gatti like Mayweather is going to beat up Cotto. I hope Manny fights Bradley and I'll be happy.

I have read and you called Cotto "shot" numerous times over the years. You discredited pac for fighting Cotto saying he was shot to shit and picked on Pac for fighting shot & past their prime fighters.

Now Floyd is fighting Cotto and I see you're happy about it. Hypocrite.

cotto is overrated as hell, he will never be elite. He will always just be an above average fighter in my opinion.
nah, I think he was elite. He beat everyone he ever fought besides pac & margarito (who likely had loaded gloves). He's not on pac or floyd's level but they are something very special. He's at the tail end of his career now too so he's not as good as he was 2-4 years ago but he's still very good, beats most guys including Canelo imo.

You are a dumb fuck. Please tell me dumbass where I wrote that Cotto was good or not still shot? Nothing that I have said about Cotto has changed. I have said that I will enjoy watching Cotto get a Gatti style beating learn how to fucking read and the meaning of a hypocrite
I want Mayweather to beat Cotto for all the bs ducking talk over the years. Again I have to son 206.

prime canelo>>prime cotto
lol oh yeah? The Canelo who beat legendary Alfonzo Gomez & Matt Hatton?

Let's see Cotto fought Gomez at his actual weight class (147 pounds not 154) and he knocked him out in 5 rounds, knocking him down in round 2, 3, 4 & 5 about 4 years ago.

Canelo just fought an older Gomez above his best weight and got a TKO win in round 6, where the ref stopped the fight way too prematurely (not that canelo wasn't going to win) and the fight was actually close up to that point.

Let's see Cotto also beat an undefeated Carlos Quintana, undefeated Ricardo Torres, undefeated Paulie Malignaggi, moved up in weight and beat Zab Judah, and beat Shane Mosley (before pac or floyd beat shane).

Cotto >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Canelo and it's not even close man. Not even remotely close.

Now maybe Canelo eventually becomes a great fighter (I hope he does) but as of right now he hasn't proved he's an elite fighter, he has never been tested against a legit fighter really, other than maybe that English fighter Rhodes who was ranked in the top 10.

lol you criticized pacquiao for beating Cotto. Now here is floyd fighting Cotto, three years later, and no criticisms from you of course. That's called being a hypocrite.

that's what i meant when Canelo hits his prime his run and his victories will be far more impressive then what overrated cotto has done. I don't think Canelo is anywhere reaching his peak yet.

lol well unless you're psychic there isn't anyway of knowing that so it's kinda pointless to say. He's only 21 so yeah, he'll probably get better as time goes on as long as he understands he needs to keep improving.

I like floyd in a easy fight I think his speed & defense will overwhelm cotto, this fight is 3-4 years too late ,cotto is not the same fighter he was before

My guess is they have no choice but to put Canelo on the Undercard or share the spot light because not many Mexicans will be watching this fight. I know I am not buying this PPV.....

I got Cotto winning for $1000000.00 anyone want to get?
