Moss a possibility for Patriots?
<Mar. 5> The Boston Herald is reporting that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick would consider acquiring Moss for the right price. The Packers have been considered the front-runners to land Moss in a trade with Oakland, but neither side appears to be in a hurry to consummate a deal. The Packers have offered backup QB Aaron Rodgers; the Raiders are holding out for a first-round pick.

The Raiders appear determined to unload Moss due to his cavalier attitude and high cap number ($11.7 million). In two seasons with the Raiders, Moss has caught 102 passes for 1,558 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Broncos making push for Henry
<Mar. 5> The Broncos spent Sunday night negotiating with Henry, and are hopeful of getting a deal done with the free-agent running back before he leaves Denver, reports the Denver Post.

Henry, who was released by the Titans on March 3, rushed for 1,211 yards last season. Although the Broncos are keeping tabs on Buffalo's Willis McGahee, Chicago's Thomas Jones and Philadelphia's Correll Buckhalter, Henry appears to be their top choice.

The Raiders, Packers, Giants and Jets are also reportedly interested in Henry.

Denver's Plan B?
<Mar. 5> The Broncos are the latest team to express interest in trading for Bills running back Willis McGahee, sources told The Buffalo News.

The Broncos are in need of a running back after sending Tatum Bell to Detroit in a trade for CB Dre' Bly last week. Although Travis Henry appears to be Denver's top choice, one source told the newspaper that the Broncos have a "serious interest" in McGahee.
