Does the word "nigga" automatically disqualify a song for radio play?

I'm leaving anything questionable off songs I'm sending to radio DJ's... Just to be safe...

I thought you have to send the song edited, and the radio stations only edit the tracks themselves when they really really want to play it (i.e. when KMEL played tracks from Snoop's Doggystyle a few days before it came out.)

if you wanna get your shit on the radio all you gotta do is this.........when you producing and writing your song imagine you in a club and the only people thats gonna hear the song are those in the club. that will get you in the right mindset to be on the radio...thats all the radio shit is anyways. and it has to be tight of course...people in the club and listenin to radio dont wanna hear no dark ass hard ass murder shit.

i'm not talkin about murder music. I'm thinkin more of a cool ass rap song that has one n-word in it.

Sydal:" Do you ever listen to the radio"...... rarely.
Thing is this. I was explaining this to the producer of this album today. He wants to get a song onthe radio. Now, I really like the song, but it has the N word in it. It is only one time, but I told him that they are basically begging to get theri stuff on the air. You dont want to do anything that gives them a reason to say "no". He told me about the rversing and I explained to him that they shouldn't have to do any work. They are doing YOU a favor. It's not like its 2Pac and they GOTTA have it on their. If that were the case they would turn cartwheels to make it happen. We agreed to disagree, and then I basically told him I would not push his shit to the radio unless he changed the word. He balked and started telling me about artistic integrity. To which I replied, "If your artistic integrity depends on using the word 'nigga' then we got bigger problems, mayne. This isnt about freedom of speech, its about marketability"

I just wanted to see what other people thought about the radio protocol (insights)

if a song has the N word ONE TIME then
is it automatically disqualified from the radio.

MY THOUGHTS FROM WHAT I HEAR ON THE RADIO.....

"NIGGA" IS NOT A FACTOR, YOU COULD BE BIGG AS HELL IN RECORD SALES AND YOUR NUMBER ONE HITT HAS "NIGGA" IN IT 12 TIMES.......
JUST CAUSE YOU BIG BALLIN THEY WILL PLAY THE HELL OUT OF YOUR NUMBER ONE HITT.......
GRANTED THEY WILL BLEEP OUT THE "NIGGA" WORD BUT IT WILL PLAY.

ON ANOTHER NOTE PLENTY OF ARTIST HAVE BLOWN UP WHILE USING THE NIGGA WORD, WITH AND WITHOUT THE RADIO.

^^ lol...in vallejo niggah is said my everyone...

but niggah is said all over the radio..the new song by 50 biggie and eminem has 50 saying niggah all over his verse ... they even try to kinda destort him from saying niggah but all it does is have him say it in a high ass tone....so niggah at really a bad thing for a raido song..all they'll do is bleep it out
