Mary J. Blige snagged the ASCAP Voice of Music Award at Monday's ASCAP
Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Los Angeles, California. She also shared
the Songwriter of the Year awards with Johnta Austin, and Jermaine
Dupri.
Too $hort and Dem Hoodstarz performed at the Playboy Mansion Monday
night for the All-Star Night to Cure Autism event, which was hosted by
Celebrity Locker Room. During the event, those in attendance got a sneak
peak of $hort's upcoming "I Love the Bay" compilation, featuring the
single, "Video Vixen" by Dem Hoodstarz.
Did Foxy Brown get shown what's good or not!? In yesterday's New York
Daily News, Clinton Hughes, the legal aid lawyer of one of the accused
prostitutes, Roshawn Anthony (who's reportedly 5-feet-2 and 125 pounds),
Foxy is lying about Anthony being one of the women who jumped her.
"[Brown] is a colorful character," he told the Daily News. "She's
bringing out a colorful story. But something much more realistic will
come out at the grand jury." Sigh . . . like, can we all just be honest
about the situation?
Paris Hilton was released from prison today. Paparazzi and media were
present to greet the hotel heiress, and an official statement was
released from Hilton. "This is by far the hardest thing I have ever
done," Hilton, who was only in prison for three weeks, said. "I have had
a lot of time to reflect, and have already learned a bitter, but
important lesson from this experience." Hmm.
