i think he does, but i don't know if he'll make it. at least not first ballot.

one of my favorite players of all time...i really want a white or red pistons billups jersey. or even an alternate navy blue nuggets jersey.

and i fully agree with this statement in the article...

"The Pistons weren't the Pistons because of Sheed, Tay, Rip or Ben. They were the Pistons because of Billups."

I say yes. He's 1 of the few players to make it to 7 straight conference finals (he was a main factor in all of them) and the only 1 to make that list who wasn't a laker or a celtic.

Even though Mullin is my favorite player of all-time you have to take into consideration that chauncy has a ring and been to the finals @ least twice. He was also a finals mvp. Who knows? My boy Mullin still got a chance. He was a finalist this year. Hopefully next years class isn‘t as deep as this years.

interesting article:

http://www.nba.com/2009/news/features/vince_thomas/05/26/thomas.billups/index.html

So now I've read it and you've read it. Make a choice.

does Chauncey Billups deserve to be in the Basketball Hall Of Fame?

if no, why not?

would you consider him over a guy like, say (cough) Allen Iverson?
A.I. is the best 6 foot and under player in history!! Billups has no shot to make it over A.I. but he may make it on his own. Well have to see how he finishes though!! Got Em!!

mullin will get in eventually. all those guys that played for that og dream team back in 92 get in, eventually. no worries there.

oh, cept for christian laettner, he was still in college or was making the transistion to nba.

chauncey this decade has been one of the most consistent clutch players. he has been the heart of the teams he has played for this decade. he makes his teammates better, and that is the true heart of a leader.

if he wins the title this year, then he is a shoo in, not on the 1st try, but on the second try.

but if he takes denver to the nba finals and loses, he will eventually get in. when he gets in?, i dont know, but he will eventually.

chauncey might not make it 1st ballot, but he will get in, eventually.

fuck, if they talk about reggie miller getting into the HOF, they better have some fucking very wide ass doors, like cathedral doors, cuz there will be a shitload more players that will retire in the future taht are as good as reggie or better.

to me reggie miller was avg at everything, but he was an above average shooter and clutch player.

if reggie miller can get into the HOF, then chauncey and mullins will defintiely get in.

billups is a lock, are you guys serious???

oh yea and fuck mullen with his dumb ass hair cut, dude has not accomplished shit that billups has...
are you kidding, mullin has got to have the sweetest looking jump shot in nba history.

his shooting form was perfect, he must have had the quickest release in nba history.

the reason he had a very quick release on his shot is cuz he started winding up his shot from his chest height and all he had to do was bend his elbow and booom his shot was off.

usually players start winding up their shot from their waste and then bring it up chest height. this wastes valuable time and gives for defenders to come and block the shot.

but i think the player that had the perfect form on his jumpshot has to be jordan.

jordan didnt have the greatest quick shot, cuz he would wind up his shot at the waist, but he had perfect shooting mechanics.

dude always had his shoulders squared up, feet split apart perfectly, maximum peak vertical height. it wasnt basketball anymore, it was fucking art.

i'd say no as of right now. if it were football then yes but hall-of-famers for basketball are based ALOT on stats and MVP titles etc. he deserves and i would vote him in but as of right now i'd say no
