What's the "new" defintition of blowing up??????

Back when I was doing music "Blowing Up" meant pushing
50,000 to 100,000 copies nationwide!

Now I know NOBODY is doing that out of the bay right now period.

So what is it???

Is it 5,000 copies
10,000 copies
1,000 copies
sound scanning 500 plus selling 2.2 million out ya trunk??

I think the only one who blew up out here recently is Mystic...

The Independant Capital of the World.... The Bay.... Why R we hurting???.... I think people out here think they can do everything.. A-Z Instead of dishing out some bread off the top... When the primetime was out here we had CMC, Sway, KMEL and Wild were split..... That CMC station alone helped out many local fans... What happened.. Clear Channel.. When pop hit CMC full time, downhill they went.... We also learned how to sell units under the table to Moms and Pops stores without the Exclusive Distributor knowing anything..... We learn the loopholes and worked um... People got burnt.....

Without a station either Local TV or Local radio bring new music to our ears new talent will never be heard unless they sign there contracts after the X........ Local promotion and shows do help but I think music sticks for alot of people when they get that feeling when they hear new banging music the first time on radio, or see a new artist with a savage video.... Whenever a countrywide corporation controls soo much in the Bay Area, they squeeze the independent music to second class..... Why.. Company Endorsed Ads.... Is Coca Cola gonna make as much money per minute if Lynch is playing or Britney.... Problem is the two shouldnt be even debated they are two different markets....

Somethings you cant blend.... F**K Clear Channel.

As far as I'm concerned nobody on this damn board or on the underground tip has really blowed up...If anythang we all just tryin to come up!

Blowin up is either having a major record Deal or being a very succesful Independent label sellin atleast 20,000 to 50,000 copies every release.

E-40 and Master P are one of the only fools that blew up Independently and since then there really hasn't been anyone else

We need someone to blow up on the West Coast soon!
