I'm trying to do some upgrades in my house and my yard, what I want to do in the backyard is build an enclosed gazebo electricity, furnished kinda like a small house but instead of a regular door I want an automatic sliding glass door like when u go to wal-mart .....anyone know of any info on this? I googled and found places but they don't offer any prices or kits and I don't feel like callin them now

How so? sliding glass doors can be locked & sensors shut off
then wouldnt it be a lot cheaper to get a regular door? a nice sliding glass door is close to a thousand dollars, think of a automatic one. your lookin at a couple of grand, not to mention you probably need it professionally installed.

I got some friends who are electricians and can most likely deal with that portion of it....I just think it would be nice to have that on my gazebo being that when I have get togethers everything will be outside and in there & I haven't seen or heard anyone else with that

that would be sick tho.....imagine you're outside at a party and walk over to the little house thang and the glass door opens by itself....I'd probably be thinking "wtf? Am I high? well, yeah I'm high, but am I that high?"

and its not like he finna keep hella expensive shiti n his "gazebo" except maybe a TV or something IF that.

the installation kit just in itself is gonna cost you a grip. Whats your budget for this home project? Best thing to do is call them up and see if they could e mail you a brochure or just mail you one. An upgrade of this magnitude off hand is gonna cost you a grip.

Might as well put some french doors will save you a lot more money and add more value to your property.

I have sliding glass doors with my dogs leashed to each door. On command, they mush forward and open my doors - Flinstone style. Cheapest upgrade I ever did.

Call PETA. I don't care.

wow you're either fuckin lazy or a fatass if you dont want to spend time opening a sliding door.

Not the point of being lazy or fat jackass I just think it'd be a tight addition...

I don't plan on doin this for another year or 2 so my budget is open as of now if it's going to be 2,000+ then i'll prolly say fuckit and do sumtn else

@ rosetown- I always wondered how that shit would work with the lights while bangin a broad haha

anyone ever walk into a closed sliding glass door either drunk or high? shits embarassing!

^^I agree. It's not lazy. It's a sick ass upgrade.

I honestly don't know anyone who's done that. I do know someone who has sliding panels on the wall that have a tv behind. Think that kit is similar?

Probably similar as installing but the door requires sensors as to the the one you seen probably requires a remote but that'd be funny as shit to have one with a remote and fuck with folx for the first time their walking up to it specially if they drunk
