..-=[ Audio Thread ]=-.. (put you're audio in here)

I figure that putting a thread dedicated to audio ought to be a temporary fix to all the clutter clogging the board. Hopefully if everyone puts their audio in the same thread like this, meaningful discussion can continue without numerous threads pointing to people's new beats every day getting in the way. I suggest a mod (Gate) putting one of these as a vital every three or four days and moving other posts with audio. I just don't want to see this valuable resource with many wise veterans go down the crapper...

I'll start things off here with a new beat of mine.
"Tears": lo-fi hi-fi

As a general courtesy, those who post audio should give some feedback to others who are looking for it.

This is a track my homie did on one of my old beats and posted up on Hip Hop Infinity...

Play: http://www.zebox.com/cgi-bin/artists/loadfile.cgi?yungpreskule_-_Internet_Queen.m3u+qp+m4

If that link don't work go to: http://zebox.com/yungpreskule/music/ It's the song called "Internet Queen."

He got a lot of radio drops and freestyles and shit on there... I think the most recent album he's on is the Fireworks compilation on a beat produced by Floss P.

I'll check some of these other tracks out when I get home...

Toxsick - I checked the first five or so. They're tight, but they sound a little unfinished and repetative. I think they have great potential, but they're just missing something...

Bossplaya - Can't really check out Real Audio, sorry man...

Bane - Good for its style, but the style is too 'hip-hop' for me. Very good work with the voice samples.

3VID3NC3 - Couldn't check the real audio, but I peeped the mp3 page. I like. A little too spares for my taste though. Try dropping some rhodes chord progressions in there, maybe some brass to funk it up a little.

G-Dubb - Pretty hot, except the bassdrum roll. Instead, try having the velocity increase on each of it's successive hits, starting low and building up. That would flow better.

V-Dizzle - Apologize about not being able to check real audio. Email me about prices though... [email protected]

To those who asked, everything I do is strictly pc based. I use Cubase as my sequencer with various vst synths, like Model-E, Battery, and Halion.

Thanks for getting this started y'all

P-loc: tight. the raps sound a bit like luni coleone. The beat sounds a bit generic, tho. I'd drop a funkier bass line and change the drum sounds.

b0ssplaya: some hype spits. try rapping just a little closer to the mic though. reminds me of some '93 east coast vibe.

digital: sounds like some decent abstract type hip-hop. not my arena, but it had some flavor.

jaz: I liked rhythm, although, I noticed that you used the same sound as in E-40's "it's all gravity". 130 was cool, but you should drop a bass line in there. You got some potenitiel, but your tracks as a whole sound a little empty...
