What's the ring code of the OG version of Kool Daddy Fresh's It's All True 95 version, not the 98 remix album?

On the OG, is the front cover art a bit blurry? I thought "bootleg" instantly when I got the CD, but the ebay seller claims that he has owned it since its release. can anybody help me out with this?

If you bought if from the dude in Louisville i think you got a bootleg. i think Kool Daddy repressed it. they had a bunch of those at Better Days last time i was in Louisville. It looked bootleg as hell. the one i looked at had a holepunch too. the dude at the store said they get a batch in every once in a while.

This one ain't got a holepunch, but the jewel case has two pen lines drawn across the spine, but yeah, it's the dude in Louisville that I got it from... Damn, another ebay fuckup. I really hoped that sellers with 100% positive feedback that describes it as OG press really would come correct.

Thanks for you replies homies. The ring code on my disc ain't P-38928-2 KDF-2. Don't remember the actual numbers at the moment but it is also written "fresh" on the ring code.

Still the seller claims that the one I got is an original pressing and that he had 5 copies at one point and sold four of them. Don't know what to do with this though.

I dunno man. I never knew it was on cd, i thought it was tape only for the longest. Back then some undergrounds just stretched the tape jackets so it might be blurry from that. I thought it was strange dude had two sealed ones for auction, and claimed to have more. Thats alot of OG '94 cds to have

Seller still swears up and down that the one I got is the OG. I don't know, but he seems to know his shit. Anyway, if I got an OG, then there are two versions of this CD, one with the ring code given above and one with more digits and the word "fresh" in it. Most likely I got a repress or a bootleg. Then again, the sellers stresses that this is the OG. What I don't understand is why anybody would bootleg this CD because there isn't that much of a demand for it. The other version with the ring code above sold for $34 on ebay yesterday... I just asked him about the two ring codes and it'll be interesting to see what or if he replies.

I don't think it is "bootlegged" technically. I think it was repressed by Kool Daddy. just my assumption, thats the only reason i can think why i've seen it in two different places in the same region within a 6 month period.
