White folks buy most rap music.
The thing about it is, though, anyone connected to rap white, black, whatever, wants to know that a rapper is still respected in the streets with a black constituency.
Nickatina is creative enough to where it doesn't really matter.
Most of his shit is ignored by ghetto folks because he uses some maney ass beats like pirate music and some weird ass old songs and his flows don't really go along with normal rappin style.
He still earned his respect in the beginning tho. Came out basically street with a edge and his game evolved to where he is not better or worse but just at a different place than most rappers.
Yea if you wanna hear some bangin block shit you not gonna get it from Nickatina, but if you ain't trippin on that category and you got an open mind than you can appreciate his music.
Some of his songs still have a hard edge, but musically and flow wise he definitely on 'Some Other Shit'.

i think more white people feel nicky cause he aint on some gangsta street typa shit, so alot of kids that dont normally listen to rap feel his shit cause he be rapin bout coke and other shit alot of white kids can relate to. for example one of my homies is hella into techno shit and is a dj but he and all his friends love nickatina.
To many other artists are just one sided, and when they like that they only get one type of audience, nickatina gets thugs , tweakers , skaters and damn near anyone else....thats how you make money right there. To many niggas tryin to just make street music, and they wonder why they aint never gonna blow up
