All bay music isnt trash is it?

I moved out the bay like 8 years ago to San Diego. Never have I pulled my ears away. I know music wises I dont hear every song that comes out but these are my thoughts

-Yuk is still nice the million dollar mouth piece was real nice
-E40 still has tracks day and night shifts had enough good tracks to make one raw album
-The Boy Boy mess is still hard that highly aggressive mix tape is fire

-YA boy sounds like the game to me and I don’t like either of them.
-Never have I liked San Quinn I feel like since the 90's it been about the way he sounds(his voice) that carried him cus his lyrics have been and are elementary at best.

the problem bay music is having is three fold.
1) No one really supports anyone else when they make it to the nation stage. 40 being as big as he is never really puts anyone on the album and if he does he doesn’t put them on the single. ppl are gonna say what about keak on tell me when to go but truth is 40 needed keak to get the bay support him doing the hyphy thing. he didn’t do it to help out keak. Keisha Cole almost acts like she not from up there.

2) When that hyphy shit hit if u liked it or not it was getting nationwide play. a lot of the more popular and talented artist signed major deals and have been shelved since the hyphy fad ended. as a result many of the bays more popular and talented artist haven’t been able to push music like they had prehyphy cause now their music is property of their label.

3)I feel like most artist are not constant cus the moment u start feeling one of these new dudes they just stop making music or they start making trash trying to sound like someone else.

The boy Mess is garbage these days and turned himself into a complete joke these past 2 to 3 years. He lost all credibility with the blood shit and even his fans dont respect him after this hannah montana shit. His flow is way to lazy also these days. The bay will never get supported fully by radio stations across the country and thats the main problem.

I cant really say anyone on the mainstream level put out as good of an album as 40 but i think everyone realizes the dicksucking that goes on with certain artists and they will get play whether there shit is wack or not while 40 and the bay continues to struggle to get any play

The BAY Fucked themselves in the early 90's when Majors gave out a ton of advancements and Never saw a Penny back. Everyone took that money and Tricked it off, bought studio equipment and other Stuff. Major labels dont wanna have to deal with that again and they have EAST COAST and DOWN SOUTH artists that will Play by THEIR Rules and keep their mouth shut.They make enough money off of those artists. They dont care how "REAL" or "GANGSTA" They are. If stupid people keep buying it (And they do) thats okay with the Major Labels. MAINSTREAM Artists to the MAJOR Labels are Like PARIS HILTON's Cute little Dog...Easy to Control and Nice to Look at. BAY ARTISTS are RED NOSE Pits off their fuckin LEASH and RABID!!! They Cant handle Niggas from the NORTH SIDE of CALIFORNIA!!! Like TOO SHORT Said it's "WAY TOO REAL". The BAY AREA Is too REAL For the Fake ass Industry People. They want some sugar coated shit....not some 2 Pac all over again typa shit.They scared of the Northern Cali rap Movement.

notice how most the people you named are old as fuck?(in rap years) How come the new generation cant step up? The bays old timers cant keep putting out albums forever. Once they stop making music, the bay will be dead forever, UNLESS the new generation can come up with another gimmick like hyphy or some shit

I think the new generation of bay area rappers needz 2 stop usin the same wordz like "SWAG" and stop rappin about gay pretty bitch shit.... alotta these new bay rappers aint got no originality and they usin weak ass dirty south & east coast beatz.

back in the 90's mostly all the shit from the Bay was heat, these new rappers aint got nuthin on the O.G. bay area rap, too many weak ass rappers these dayz.

Alot of good music in the bay, just gotta look around sometimes.

Check out Live wire, they droppign fire. Check out Enemigos cd that Gangsta Reese was a part of, also that last Ap9 Reality Check was dope, Jackas cd was nice, Nio The Gift cd was great, Last Turf Talk cd was awesome, Souls Of Mischief last album goes hard, that GoBots 2 is sick, that SB and Krypto album was slappin and that new BLACK C is dope to, check those out!

And of course 40 water, but you already know how he do. Danked out on the comeup, DJ Fresh doing nothing but heat. Sure there is some garbage but there is still great music if you look hard enough.
