what you dont understand is dre was already paid for the songs...he or the thizz camp have no rights to any of these songs...its kind of like the Mind of a hustler cd on outbac or the Mac dre is name on out of bounds...dre was paid for each individual song and went on his way...i am as close to the family as most and i will buy this cd as you guys should because if Dra'ne didnt get anything from it its Andre's fault...so all im tryin to say is if you like the cd buy it and if you dont like dont buy it...but dont let the label its on sway you one or another...

Yeah, when a artist gets cashed out, instead of investing there money in a project(and waiting hoping to make a profit), all these folks come on her yelling "its bootlegged wah wah" , like all them keak cd's coming out.

so instead there are shitty labels buying songs, (which is good, i guess from the artist perspective, cuz theyre gettin paid, but bad from the fans perspective cuz theyre payin for recycled shit) and trying to make money off of it.

in essence this problem begs three questions:

1) what are these labels ACTUALLY doing, i.e. in terms of doin their own work
2) is it respectable of the artist to be recycling stuff even if their getting paid (imo its not like tv, where u can see the same show over and over)
3) how are the fans expected not to blame people when theyre paying for the same shit over and over, and no ones explaining anything, and the artist or the artists REAL label doenst come out and say anything about it.

to me, it looks like we're supposed to not question anything going on here and just respect the fact that the artist got paid for it.

I believe they're talkin' about the album with a cartoonish cover...comes with a DVD and poster as well. It's called "Uncut". City Hall is distributing. Here's a little discription about the album off of CityHallRecords.com: "This is a CD/DVD combo with an original 6-panel fold-out Mac Dre poster within the packaging. On the DVD, you will hear Mac Dre himself covering topics concerning his life, career and all of his creative alter egos. You will also hear from Richie Rich, Dubee, PSD and other Cutthoat Committee members who share their thoughts on the man, the artist and the legend. The CD soundtrack features appearances from Luni Coleone, Rich Tha Factor, Rydah J. Klyde, AP.9, Cognito and, of course, Mac Dre. 14 tracks of pure uncut lyrics."

naw thizz is making a killing off of Mac dre's name putting the same songs out and changing the names of them. Artists from the bay that had nothing to do with thizz are hopping on there dicks just to make some money off a dead man's name. Its a damn shame. Shit put a mac dre stamp on anything and these kids will buy it up like hot cakes straight up wrong.
