The Chargers need a Safety... And some DB's... 'Cause Jammer is garbage... Straight trash... Aside from that the squad looks good...

So?

Vick is the highest paid QB in the league, and he doesn't do shit. Unless you're insinuating that him being the highest paid makes him the best.
Give him Andre Johnson, Torry Holt, Chad Johnson, or Steve Smith, He'd be the next Steve Young homeboy.

His Arm Strength, the Ability to go deep. Confusing the defense with his running ability and deep arm and to add to that, you have a good running back not only is he fast, but great at catching flats and beating LBs. Then you have Alge Crumpler, arguably the Best TE in the NFC, wait til Vernon Next Year! It's Like Steve Young(Mike Vike), Jerry Rice(Insert WR name I posted), Brent Jones(Alge Crumpler), and Ricky Watters/Garrison Hearst(Warrick Dunn).

All that doesn't translate into success. Look at what he does on the field.. Please don't compare him to the likes of Steve Young ever again.

Anyway Vick is off topic, I just used him as an example because he is the highest paid QB but he is nowhere near the best.

lorenzo neal might be the best fullback in the league. but like fatal said, so what? he's getting old. plus, the chargers will still be a good team, but they have spots to fill. like the defensive backs, and both middle linebacker spots. who is gonna fulfill the role donnie edwards and the impact that he had on the defense? randall godfrey is still a productive backer, but he is getting up there with age.

Godfrey is old, this will probably be his last year. We have a deep linebacker corps. we do need a safety. at corner we are good....someone said jammer is garbage but statistically he was one of the best in the league last season..i'd like to see them draft merriweather

I used a simile to try to make you understand what I mean, but in noway, in I'm even saying he's close to the Level Young was.

^i think tim dobbins will be the replacement for donnie edwards. i believe he was a rookie last year.

and are you talking about brandon meriweather from miami? he's a good safety, he needs to bulk up a little though...
yeah tim dobbins was a rookie last year, showed some promise in mimi camp and pre season.....however stephen cooper is ready..he has already had lots of playing time the last two seasons...also matt wilhelm is showing he's ready too...both of them are ahead of dobbins on the depth chart
