I saw her make a famous radio personality cry in a studio and when I drove Gloria home we argued about why she did that and she kept it real with me she said \u2018Domingo that bi**h don\u2019t fool me she is a 2 face.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cGonna miss speaking to her on the phone and hear her say \u2018Domingo you got that funky ass fire for me or what motherfucker\u2019\u2026 R.I.P Gloria \u2018Hurricane G\u2019 Rodriguez.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Born Gloria Rodriguez in Brooklyn, New York, Hurricane G came to prominence as a member of the Def Squad and was first heard by many fans on the intro to\u00a0<a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/redman-rockwilder-extended-version-method-man\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Redman\u2019s<\/a>\u00a01992 hit \u201cTonight\u2019s Da Night,\u201d telling the Jersey MC to\u00a0<em>\u201cGet off that punk smooth shit, man. Get with that rough shit, man. You know how we do!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Her debut album\u00a0<i>All Woman\u00a0<\/i>was released in 1997 and the lead single \u201cSomebody Else\u201d (which samples The Jones Girls\u2019 1979 hit \u201cYou Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else\u201d) reached the top 10 of the Hot Rap Singles chart. The album also featured an appearance by fellow Hit Squad alums Das EFX.<\/p>\n<p>Hurricane G was also featured on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/diddy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diddy\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0track \u201cP.E. 2000\u201d from his\u00a0<em>Forever<\/em>\u00a0album in 1999.
