While interviewing and getting a chance to listen to his music, the characteristic that sets Mare apart from most artists is that he’s able to record, write, and engineer all of his music. Especially with the music industry changing, this talent is rare.

The uniquely melodic artist is known for his hit singles, “Starlife” “Destiny Secrets”, and “Fell in Love,” just to name a few. “I like to call myself versatile. I can give you a nice melody, but I can also switch it up and rap with real bars. Your favorite artist ain’t doing that,” says the 25-year-old rapper.

“I see myself being one of the biggest, not just in my city, but in hip hop. I’ve always seen that as my end goal. Nothing less. Every time I’m recording, I tell myself I’m only one song away. Especially that’s all you need nowadays. One song to go viral and you’re outta there,” he says.

After taking a minor break from the music scene, Mare is currently getting ready to release his single, “Facts.” “Facts” is a record that emphasizes the versatile artist stepping back onto the music scene and getting back into his bag. “There’s always people who want to hear new music. You just have to find your audience. Once you find that audience, you’re pretty much locked in with them. From there, continue to feed the music they want to hear.”

When asked Mare where his inspiration comes from, he says, “Those around me every day and my team inspire me. I love music, that is truly my passion so that inspires me in itself.
