Interacting through music and the streets,\u00a0Loc\u00a0joined a rap group called &#8220;The Blacktopperz&#8221;. The group later disbanded before releasing their first project due to a members death and\u00a0Loc\u00a0being incarcerated in Wasco State Prison for drug related charges. Shortly after being released from prison\u00a0Loc\u00a0vowed never to return and take his music career a step further, picking up where he left off solo, going on the road and in town show&#8217;s with other independent artist like RBL Posse, C Bo, Spider\u00a0Loc, Kokane, Spice 1 and many others.<\/p>\n<p>After appearing on various compilations like The Left Side V.1 &amp; 2, Community Service V.2 &amp; various mixtapes, to releasing his first compilation album &#8220;Ghetto Activist, Adapt &amp; Overcome&#8221;. Now, The\u00a0Blacktopper\u00a0is currently working on his official solo album &#8220;Independency &amp; Structure&#8221; set to be released April of 2013 through Bang West Productions\/Blacktop Entertainment and distributed By Siccness.net. The album features Beta Bossalini, Intl Skeam &amp; many other prominent independent artist. Production on the album is delivered by several producers most notably Dave Moss producer of Max B, Keith Murray, Goodie Mob and more. A thought provoking street album that defines the vision and mindset of a\u00a0Blacktopper.<\/p>\n<p>Not your average bragadocious rapper,\u00a0Loc\u00a0The\u00a0Blacktopper&#8217;s music is considered conscience, political, passionate with a touch of West Coast street appeal.
