Kendrick Lamar affirmed that his Top Dawg Entertainment collective is focusing hard on ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming major label debut. Lamar was asked about the project and made it clear that Q is the top priority right now.<\/p>\n
“Right now, we’re really focusing on ScHoolboy Q; his album’s coming out,” Lamar said.<\/p>\n
He also said that the rest of the crew is waiting in the wings. “Ab-Soul and Jay Rock [are next],” he revealed. “[Black Hippy] is a lil’ further back than expected ’cause there’s just so much goin’ on with the individual acts. Right now it’s about ScHoolboy Q, then we’ll probably work on figurin’ out when we’ll do Black Hippy.”<\/p>\n
