No Malice\u00a0recently offered some details on the upcoming Clipse album which will be the first from the duo in over three years. Pusha T and No Malice are still working out the direction of the \u2018As God As My Witness\u2018 but so far it looks like the album\u2019s theme will be closely related to the title.<\/p>\n
No Malice\u00a0explained that the project is still in the beginning stages but he\u2019s recorded some material with Pusha T. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely [in] beginning stages, but Pusha and I have some serious things that we\u2019re talking about and coming to agreement on. It\u2019s a fitting title because pretty much everything that seems to be coming out has a religious theme,\u201d No Malice told\u00a0Billboard.com.<\/p>\n
No Malice\u00a0was explicit that he wanted to emphasize his religious beliefs on the project. \u201cWhat I want the people to know is that, for me, this is not \u2018cool\u2019 \u2014 this is not a trend. This is the working power of Jesus in my life,\u201d said No Malice.<\/p>\n
For\u00a0No Malice\u2018s solo project \u2018Hear Ye Him,\u2019 which is tentatively slated for June, he\u2019s looking to present his new direction in hip hop and he added that there\u2019s nothing soft about Christian rap. \u201c\u2019Here Ye Him\u2019 is basically my take, my new direction. A lot of people wonder if it was going to be gospel or Christian rap. I don\u2019t really know what you would call this, but if you think anything\u2019s soft about it, you\u2019re going to have to wake up because I really believe there\u2019s nothing touching this. It\u2019s very real,\u201d said No Malice.<\/p>\n
