If Cotto vs GGG happens, which I doubt, put ur money where your mouth is homie. $500.

Martinez turned out to be shot to shit. GGG is prime.
Why would I bet 500 on Cotto. Lets bet 500 on Mayweather/Maidana since u are a closet Floyd hater anyway. Got Em!!

Geale was a solid opponent Czar. He was ranked, he was a champ and he had never been stopped like that before.

Geal was ranked, Stevens was ranked and so were a few others. If anything I am more pissed that Zewski, who has the skills to be a top star (similar style to GGG) is being held back.

If it happens is what I'm saying. You laughed at the idea that GGG would beat Cotto so obviously you must be pretty confident, right?
When did I laugh at GGG beating Cotto? I said I hope Cotto fights him. The reason I say that is because finally GGG will actually fight someone good lol. Got Em!!

So basically, Czar got called out and accused 2-0-Sixx's bank account of taking PED's.
Huh??? Makes no sense but thanks. Got Em!!

He has beaten top ten guys. Obviously Sergio Martinez wouldn't give him the time of day, nor would Felix Sturm or Quillin (before the network fued) and Julio Cesar Chavez jr turned down a min of $10 million to fight him (and that isn't even mentioning the other top ten guys who turned him down such as N'dam and Martin Murray).

So GGG can only fight the guys that are willing to step in the ring and be patient while collecting belts, much like Bernard Hopkins had to do before a a big name would fight him.

If Cotto fights someone else, GGG will fight Soliman and then have three titles. He's trying to unify the division while others cherry pick.

Anyone wanna know what Jesse Brinkley & Marcos Primera have in common? They both beat Curtis Stevens, no way possible Stevens is better than Geale. Stevens can punch and that's about it, Tureano in his last fight was taxing him till the final round, not to mention there's at least 4 fighters that lost to Geale that are better than anyone Stevens ever beat.

He'd have 2. Please don't start counting the IBO as a major title. 4 recognized sanctioning bodies is enough.
I counted it when Bhop beat Tarver to take his IBO belt at 175 (and the lineal title). I think that was the only actual belt on the line. Im not saying It's major. But if a guy had the WBA, IBF and IBO in the division, I think that says something. I think it would say a lot.

It definitely does say a lot and it's not that the IBO doesn't have legit fighters holding their belts, but you either count it or you don't. If you don't count Sityatha (which you shouldn't) as one of the super flyweight champions, then you shouldn't count Golovkin's IBO strap as anything meaningful. It says enough to hold the WBA & IBF titles.

The laugh was basically saying your predictions dont mean anything as specified in saying Martinez would rape Cotto lol. Got Em!!

Alone the belt doesn't really say much (or it could depending on who you beat for it). My point was more about unifying belts. Regardless, if he goes on to beat Soliman that would be 2 out of the four major belts (with Cotto owning the WBC and Quillin the WBO). I Just think it means more to be a unified champ than a single belt holder (usually... there have been plenty of exceptions of course, and the lineal title is most important but in this case if that guy won't fight him, best unify).

Now that money is on the table the excuses come out. I see how it is.

And of course picking Martinez to beat Cotto wasn't some off the wall, bat shit crazy prediction, like when Tony predicted Alfonzo Gomez would KO Cotto. Martinez was the favorite and I obviously didn't know to the extent of Sergio's physical state. If you think of the style match up, especially given the fact Cotto was easily beat by Austin Trout prior, the logical choice was Martinez. It's usually smart to look at the style match up and who it favors. Most the people that picked Cotto to win, like Diggidy, they all were banking on Martinez being old and his legs not being anymore, which they were right. But for me, I hadn't seen enough deterioration in the ring to make that conclusion yet. It's like your betting on a guy showing up old.

I'm always pulling for anyone to unify belts, was just mostly giving my opinion on adding yet another sanctioning body to the list of titles. WBO pulled the same shit, kept linking themselves to good champions of other SB's until everyone started recognizing all their champs as legit champions even when everyone should have known better.

I would bet $500 that Cotto Vs. Golovkin never happens. Soliman would take the fight I think, plenty of money in it for him that he's not getting anywhere else unless he keeps fighting Sturm in Germany.

Agreed.

I guess Chavez Sr is claiming on Mexican TV today that Cotto vs Chavez jr is almost finalized for a fight at 160. Thats totally out if left field if true. I don't think there are enough drugs to get Chavez to make 160, I mean he looked bone dry at 173 against Vera without an ounce of fat to spare. Hope It's not true.
