thanks for the help with that quest in novac guys
this game is very addictive, i'll be playing for 2 hours straight and start feeling tired and i know it's time to turn the game off but i can't switch it off cos i wanna see what happens next lol
i have boone as a follower now, doing the quest for the ghoul jason bright in the repconn facility (come fly with me)
a tip for anyone attempting this quest is, if you go into the dinosaur in novac and pick the lock on the door behind the counter, there's lots of little glowing rocket souvenirs in there. you should pick all of these up (they weigh nothing) and take them with you to the 'come fly with me' quest because you'll need them towards the end

another tip which also worked on fallout 3 is clearing your game cache
the game cache is what memorises all the dead bodies and other stuff you leave lying around and it's the reason why the size of your game save gets bigger every time you save, the larger it gets, the more prone the game becomes to freezing crashes and other bugs
to clear the cache, start the game and when you get to the screen which says "this game auto saves data...." press X (ps3) to continue
after pressing X, hold L2 R2 and square and keep hold of it all the way up to the title screen where it says Fallout New Vegas and Press Start with the NCR guy standing there
the Fallout New Vegas and Press Start text will appear for a second and then disappear so you will have a screen with just the guy standing there
keep hold of the three buttons for a few seconds and then let go and the text will come back onto the screen and you can now load up your game and carry on playing with the cache cleared

i just got to silver rush in freeside and saw that bitch had all these sick energy weapons on the table in front of her
to get these weapons for free, look at them and press the right stick to make it float in front of you, then carry it to the toilets in the back where nobody can see you and then steal it
