No, that was just a one time comment by dre as a diss that never had any legitimacy. I was around back then, I know.

So was I and it was an actual rumor .. The movie also exaggerated a lotta shit. It was said that Dre never made it to the hospital in time to dead the beef wit Eazy, so that phone call between Dre and Eazy was most likely fabricated for Hollywood purposes.

The rumour started after dre made a comment about it in some interview. I was around both the death row and ruthless camps back then and if it was real I would have known about it.

Weren't you a kid at the time? lol

Anyway, I just went on a binge watching djvlad interviews from Lonzo, Yella, and Michel'le. Insane amount of discrepancies in the storyline regarding the movie as well as the characters portrayed. Lonzo came across a bit of salty, but the other interviews seemed genuine. Michel'le was a trip listening to lmao.

This movie was surprisingly good.

Whoever said the concert scenes was dope was spot on, they did a fantastic job getting the sound right. Movies rarely if ever do that good of a job.

Anyways, I'm sure some if not a lot of the film was inaccurate. I don't really care though, this was more of a feel good film for our generation. Which is funny given that it's NWA. We are getting old haha I'm sure as we get older there will be more and more movies about shit we grew up to. "Tyler Perry's Welcome to Garden Blocc" starring Jamie Foxx as Brotha Lynch Hung, Daniel Radcliffe as Mr. Doctor and Evan Ross as X-Raided
