I got first Hedge Knight graphic novel where Duncan meets Aegon. I liked it, but it only took me about an hour to read. How's the book version?
I like it. I think the hedge Knight is 160 pages. I

For Catlyn, I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to do it next season. That scene happened at the very end of the book. No reason they couldn't make next season real heavy on Beric Dondarrian and Catlyn. When I read that quote, I thought maybe they were trying to throw a red herring in there to surprise the fans.
Maybe. Hopefully. The actress said she's dead and not returning but maybe Thats BS.

SPOILERS

Yeah man I don't know. I've only finished the third book which only mentions her at the very end so I don't really know how big of a role she plays in the following books (well, I sort of do as I read some spoilers online). Seems to me it would be pretty badass. From my understanding if they cut her out of the show that would have a big impact on several characters, so I'm not quite sure what the logic would be. Hopefully they are fucking with us, I'd like to see her in the show most def

i just read on some other website that they planning to cut out from series the part of Catelyn Stark after her dead - if this happens this will be gayest move ever
Also read this. I haven't read the books but read an article saying that she comes back as a zombie or something. She said in an interview or something that it won't happen in the show. Doesn't bother me because I never read it. Actually sounds kinda lame but I'm sure it was cool in the book.

well lady stoneheart aka zombie catelyn stark comes in way later, like the very end of book 4. She ties in with briennes storyline, which was basically just an entire book of wandering around failing, which ends in a cliffhanger, and no one knows what happens with that yet. But since brienne is like an ultimate embodiment of female empowerment and is a fan fave and theyve covered her entire book of wandering with like 2 episodes lol, I think they'll scrap the part with them, and maybe work some other angle.

the funniest thing is they have added lots other pointless shit which wasnt in the books and which was not even necessary like gay Renly
but zombie Cat could be actually cool

Stuff like that annoys the shit out of me. You have a perfectly great story and then you get a bunch of silly writers sitting around with nothing better do than come up with stupid ideas like "hey lets make Renly gay!".......For why?!

It was implied, but not explicit. For instance renlys kings guard was the rainbow guard lol. Or someone would say like he prefers the sword to the sheath. I think tyrion said he was the type to drink berry wine over beer. He had some "books with images that would turn a septon blind" which many people guessed were gay / bisexual pornos. Just little remarks here and there. But martin does that shit he tries to be sly and implies a lot of stuff rather than just say it

Yeah I just finished book 2 so I picked up on the subtle implication....but it was subtle at best, far from the flamboyance HBO abominated.

Yeah lol and loras tyrell pretty much confirmed they were more than buddies when he got all emo after renlys death. I think jaime even pointed it out to his face and made fun of him lol
"Now sheathe your bloody sword, or I'll take it from you and shove it up some place even Renly never found."

Game of Thrones set for Alcazar in Seville, Spain

For those viewers that are totally into the Game of Thrones and the amazing historical places filmed around the world to represent the stunning and exotic lands, the next season 5 series will feature the amazing Alcazar in Seville, Spain. Set to represent the famous water gardens of Dorne, the royal residences and gardens of the Alcazar are world renown on their own, but this may also bring a new audience base of admirers that typically don’t get a chance to see these amazing historic sites in person.

The Alcazar was built in 712 as a fortress and then converted into royal residences. The palace was certified as a Unesco World Heritage site in 1987.

Prior to the Alcazar in Seville being chosen, two other palaces were being scouted including the Alhambra of Granada is set high on a plateau over looking Granada with imposing views of the city. And last the Alhambra of Cordoba which is smaller but still grand with its Arabic influences and Mudejar artwork. In the end, the Alcazar in Seville was chosen. The Alcazar has also been used to film historic movies including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and the ‘Kingdom of Heaven’. The staging of the Alcazar in Seville for the Game of Thrones will be a truly spectacular attempt to use this World Heritage site and showcase the splendors of this magnificent palace and complex.
